1. flash to stock 2.3 rom
2. set correct time and date,uncheck automatic
3.flash miui rom

thanks for the help.. i tried the steps u gave me several times but the problem is still there... actually, the problem is not the date and time its the system itself.


for example,

i installed facebook feb. 20
march 3 i installed inotia
march 20 i installed dolphin browser and then i restart my phone today (march 24)

all the apps i installed are all gone... time and date is still correct but all the messages, calls received, settings and all the changes i made after feb 19 will be erased after the restart.. thats the problem i'm having right now


my phone is running RC2

even if i load the stock rom 2.3, miui, bumblebee and cm7... my phone goes back to RC2.. time and date is correct but files and apps are gone


i hope anyone can help

Seems like i dont have anymore option but to send it back to the service center and pay for the repair... as per service technician, i need to pay for it because it voided the warranty... as much as i would like to, i cant load the original rom anymore...

i tried loading the cherry mobile stock rom using Sut L3 and also tried using Sut LR but my phone goes back to RC2 Feb 19 settings (Date and Time is correct but not the settings)... Also, i tried using CWM to no avail..

ROMs tried using SUT L3, SUT LR and CWM:
- RC1
- Cherry Mobile Official ROM 2.3
- Bumblebee
- CM7
- MIUI

and the result is FAILED

my phone can finish the installation process BUT after the restart, my phone goes back to its old ROM (RC2)

I sent my phone to the service center but their technician said that motherboard of this phone need to be changed. Even service center cannot load and replace the OS of HD Magnum..

Is there anyone here know how to JTAG this phone? I badly needed your help pls provide my steps on how to fix this phone..

I tried flashing the original ROM (cherry mobile) using SUT L3 and CWM but still the same thing.. same problem... my phone won't accept any ROM and its now locked to its old settings.. i cant change anything.. pls help

I'm stucked in RC2..

here's what i tried using SUT L3
- Original cherry mobile .nb0 file
- RC1
- RC2

i also tried
- miui
- bumble bee
- CM7.. etc but still the same thing... my phone goes back to RC2 after the restart.. i erased user data using SUT L3 and CWM

My phone is running on RC2 and I want to restore it back to original cherry mobile magnum ROM.

I followed these steps to reload ROM using CWM to no avail
- Go to CWM Recovery.
- wipe data
- wipe dalvik cache
- Install zip from SD card
- Reboot

Using SUT L3, I erase user data several times before I loaded the ROM but after the restart, my phone goes back to its old RC2 ROM

Troubleshooting steps performed:

1 Reload RC 1 and RC 2 2 times (failed)
2 installed Bumblebee 5 times (failed)
3 Installed MIUI 4 times (failed)
4 Reload CWM and install zip file from there (failed)
5 Used SUT L3 to install .nbo files (failed)
6 install Cherry mobile official update using SUT L3 (failed)

i followed the steps that you provided but my phone still booting on RC2...

I downloaded the nb0 file from this link:

Also, tried the steps you provided FACTORY DATA RESET but still the same problem. According to the cherry mobile technician, the board of this phone is locked that's why it wont accept any changes in ROM...

sorry for a veerry late reply.. i sent my phone to several android technicians but i'm still here having the same problem.

To answer you question, i'm still seeing the RC2 splash screen after the automatic restart from flashing wellcom via sut.


Can you share me the original ROM manager of this phone? i will try to remove CWM and load the original one.
