What did you do to your phone? your RAM exceeded 512?

My phone is running on RC2 but can only recognize 349MB of RAM? is there something wrong with it?

No, not the benchmark score but the amount of memory that can be recognize by the phone... is there any hidden processes or apps eating the rest of the RAM?

As per product specs... this phone has 512MB of RAM but RC2 only display 349MB

Found it on Manage Running Application window (RAM used + free RAM remaining = 349MB).. there are program that keep running on the background and eat the memory...

I used Root Explorer to rename unnecessary apps but there are still programs running though i already closed them.. (example: yahoo messenger and email)

574 and 465 are the scores for RAM from antutu... its the performance score of the memory but not the total amount of RAM on your phone

Had this kind of issue before especially when playing games and reconnecting to wifi... I installed SetCPU as per advised by Najmod. Set the CPU limit to 768 ondemand and everything seems to be fine now...

you need the SUT file to flash the original CSL stock to RC1.

Yup! copy the RC2.zip to the root folder...

Access CWM through BootLoader Mode

To enter bootloader mode, press and hold volume up + down + power buttons until you see the CWM menu

Install the RC2 zip file

flash it back using SUTL or CWM (which one you like) then you will have a brand new unroot ROM again, and if the camera still fail to function, you can claim your warranty back, but make a good excuse, don't say anything about root OR changing the ROM

I backup everything including the original 2.2 Official ROM but my computer crashed down because of virus that's why i lost everything...

HI,
i followed these steps to install bumblebee but my phone is still booting on RC2.... is there anything wrong with these steps? pls help.

- Go to CWM Recovery.
- Make a full nandroid backup.
- For other do a full wipe down
- Install zip from SD card & Install Gapps
- Reboot

i tried 2 different versions but thats possible.. maybe the files i downloaded are corrupted... can anyone give me the link where i can download the latest and working bumblebee?

Hi,

thanks for the reply... this is exactly where i downloaded the bumblebee but the file is not working.. i guess it has something to do with my phone because every time i restart my phone, it goes back to its previous settings like system restore... all the apps, messages and contacts i added after feb. 19, 2012 are being deleted every restart.


i keep losing messages, apps and contacts every restart.. this is maybe the reason why it wont load bumblebee... any way to fix this?

Yes i followed the same step but seems like the settings of my phone is locked in feb 19. everytime my phone restart, it goes back to that date and deleting ALL apps, messages and contacts saved after feb 19... its kinda weird because its like a system restore... i believe its a problem with RC2... its either corrupted or already damaged because of too much apps installed to it.

i'm downloading now RC1 and RC2 and will flash the TJ style then load bumblebee after that...

still having the same problem with the system restore of this phone.. it keeps going back to its old settings (feb. 19, 2012) everytime i restart my phone

Troubleshooting steps performed:

1 Reload RC 1 and RC 2 2 times (failed)
2 installed Bumblebee 5 times (failed)
3 Installed MIUI 4 times (failed)
4 Reload CWM and install zip file from there (failed)
5 Used SUT L3 to install .nbo files (failed)
6 install Cherry mobile official update using SUT L3 (failed)

**** DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT sad.gif sad.gif

i'm planning to load the original cherry mobile rom manager but my backup crash down and lost my files..


Can anyone give me the link where i can download the original rom manager of cherry mobile? pls help
