IMHO...RC2 is the most stable one (but i hate the sharp launcher). If you like beautiful user interface & lots of function, then go for MIUI (but eats lots of RAM). RC3 not yet stable as i experience shutdown when playing certain games such as Shadowgun. Not yet trying CM7 though as I'm falling in love with MIUI...

Hi, anyone faced frequent sdcard damage error. I faced it like once a month. It happen sometime after I reboot, some after usb plug from laptop, some after it hang while surfing or play game. In my mi300 its more frequent till the sdcard totally corupt. Btw both phone using 8gb kingmax class 6

just convert from rc2 to rc3...
but a lot of my application force close or hang...
I wanted to revert it to rc2...

Currently you using stock rom or what?...with stock rom yes it happen to me previously...it showing sd corrupted but after reboot it will become back to normal...

Just flash back using SUT L3...

Flash back to any stock ROM you desire by SUT and then install RC2 via CMW.

Alright I have fixed that issues, I done it yesterday by mistake. I wanted to test the new kernel so I made full backup of existing system that I use, then flash the new kernel. When I tested the new kernel it still play GTA III for like 15 second before it locks up, so I went back to old kernel, but before that I do full data wipe then do restore. When booting I noticed the time is no longer mid 2011 and the clock is correct, to test it again I rebooted it again and the clock still correct. BTW when I made the backup the system is in airplane mode.

Duh, how many time you need to ask? Although if you make the RC2 backup beforehand, right after you flash the stock ROM and put CMW you can straight restore the RC2 backup

hope by the middle of this month the ics rom for our phone have covered all it's core functionalities..they have already found the wifi solution at xda devs and after they fix the camera i will flash that rom and taste the sweet ice cream sandwich..can't wait^^

I've been using ICS for a while now on my tablet. Apart from its UI and some other improvement, I don't find it to be any different from Gingerbread. But still its a nice update from Gingerbread. What I was hoping for more stable and faster kernel for gaming.

They definitely need to ditch the screen button because it eats space and our phone already have touch button. I'm hoping for better battery life, and in ICS there is a 'developer tab' on setting that allows to limit the amount of background processes that be running, or turning it off altogether

well i'm just looking forward to ics with the eye-candy UI..
just want to give fresh looks on the phone
possibly with better battery life
and with the presence of dual-core phone and possibly quad-core which is really better for gaming and up to date
i think our phone is now hardly catch up with coming games with greater graphics demand

I used MIUI rom since dec, but still same problem. In MIUI, 3 times already..all in my sdcard goes blank.

BTW, i cant use my phone as modem in MIUI. Is it normal or my setup are wrong?

Its totally blank or just in the phone only?...that mean u can view your sd from pc...

Your phone as modem problem in usb / wifi thetering?...

Files in the sdcard still can be view in pc but the sdcard have to reformat again, if not..phone detact as damage sdcard.
Unable to usb/wifi tethering..pc can't detact it as modem. Tried it over, win xp n win7..both same result

Alpha2 ICS has been released by edowar, supposedly fixing WiFi problem. You guys could download it @ XDA Devs forum. But if you using camera please wait for a while because its not fixed yet

thanks for the info, if i flash the ICS rom and want to revert back to 2.3 rom, do i need to use SUT> 2.3>root + cwm > restore my backup through cwm?

lol so basically the only rom with HDMI is rc2 eh? anyone here using cm7? any pros n cons? my maclite is serving me well but i feel its abit too free from bloatware, some stuff are missing ie text to speech, sum system thing that allows u to type alphabets in USSD mode

anyone else face problem like me of typing alphabets in USSD mode, ie when u press *128# or *100#..

It still uses the same kernel so you don't need to reflash to stock ROM. I don't even do factory reset. It works like a charm
