rm599 at pda expert at lowyat plaza, in terms of build quality this phone feels solid and quite thin, perfomance is great as it has 1 ghz processor and adreno 205 GPU (graphic processor) same as htc desire s, xperia play, so playing hd games is really good, rclxms.gif

normal day to day apps. It's fast. twitter, facebook, maps, gmail. etc etc. Some simple games, cut the rope, fruit ninja.

But I haven't tried any high end fps and racing games. So I don't know.

I don't use my phone for that kind of gaming. For normal usage. It's an excellent phone!!

am facing a problem guys, since i downloaded and used some batt calibration app, my phone seems to be charging slower on my USB car charger. it used to be almost as fast as charging via normal socket.

is this the issue or could it be the ROM? am using maclite, previously on RC2 and seriously considering to revert back to RC2. these are the only two ROMs that manage to retain the HDMI function. which I find unique compared to a lot of other phones out in the market smile.gif

Restart is pretty common among android phones but it's not that so frequent once you got the right rom and kernel
i only use 2 roms which is RC2 and RC3..and RC2 is really stable for me only 3 auto reboot in a month.
but the real problem is axis inversion bug which is when you dual touch the screen and bring the two points closer,it tends to switch sides and moves the opposite ways your finger is moving.but pinch zooming is quite fine just some games that require lots of multi touch..
hope to keep that in mind for future users

how is the battery usage of this phone for normal user, like texting, calls, browsing internet etc for a full charge? i don't really use to play games, but sometimes listening to the music.

Friend mine said go for branded phone, otherwise you will spend something for unnecessary money, i appreciate your comment, thanks.

Added on February 18, 2012, 11:10 amHi captainwifi, do you manage to solve the limbo issue something?

QUOTE(captainwifi @ Feb 15 2012, 03:00 PM)
I bought this awesome phone for 599. It's really good value for something comparable to htc desire and samsung galaxy s.

pls add me to the list.
however I have 1 issue. the phone tends to go limbo every morning when I wake up. The screen is off. And I can turn on the screen with the power button. I have to take off the battery and then restart.

I"m using the csl stock 2.3.4  rom. I like it alot. It's fast, stable and has fm radio. The previous mention issue is the only flaw it has.

Battery life i can say quite worse with stock rom...i think only can last 1 day for normal use...but i think thats common for android phone...sgS2 also a battery drainer with the stock rom...

Like now im using CM7 rom and i can say its better enough than stock rom...for normal use battery can last for 3 day using 2g network...

With stock rom its quite hadache coz need to aware abt the battery...u didnt do nothing also u can see its draining...

I still haven't solve the limbo problem. It happends about once or twice a day. I'm just too busy to flash another rom for the time being.

this if a good phone. But if you have 400 extra. Go for the Huawei Honor. which is same price as the samsung galaxy w. But with much better specs.
