can this phone fit into a motorola triumph case?

Just bought myself a csl mi410 from pda expert yesterday... Im still try to adapt the changes from ios to android..
Somewhre somehown the phone sometime kindda hang on the slide screen as i suddently unable to slide to the next screen.

Even thou, android is not as smooth as ios ( personal thought) but i like the personalization feature, i dissed my iphone 3gs because of it. Now im slowly learning & adjusting to android & i really believe this device got more than meet the eye..

Najmods, wana ask flashing to RC2 or CM7 edowar does it alter the stock kernel? so lets say i wana wipe n flash to edowar's, how do i go about doing it? d kernel thing is totally new to me x.x

Just flash it, Edowar CM7 have its own build in kernel so don't worry. So does RC2, so does other ROM. Modified kernel have more feature but I don't recommend to anyone. Even I use stock kernel

yeah.. reading thru very carefully..

I gave up ios since iphone 1 and brave the android world. Never turn back since, iphone has great features but it is so boring. Remember variety is the spice of life, imagine eating your favorite food eg curry mee day in day out. My brain went blank during the iphone days but with android there is always something to look forward to try and experiment.

Edowar launch new CM7 yesterday, it includes a modded kernel with overclock up to 1.4GHz, custom voltage tuning and some other stuff. Check it out at XDA Developer. I've yet to use it though, since battery life in the current CM7 is great enough I don't think I need to do any other stuff like undervolt since the custom kernel make the battery worse for some reason.

So just download and flash directly to CM7 (ROM 28-11) by Edowar in CWM Recovery?? No need to flash other stuff to use it? I m currently on MIUI 1.11.11 (Android 2.3.7) by tj_style.

hey..wan to ask about this phone..what is the current price for it ? any pros and cons?? it is worth changing this phone from samsung galaxy 5 as the screen very small..

the current price is rm599 in lowyat by pda expert both in ground floor kiosk and the shop is somewhere in upper floor (forget which floor). Just saw the display of the phone on their kiosk last saturday with rm599.. pros and cons u can get it from other posts. whether it is worth or not i think u can decide after reading all the posts before.

No AFAIK. Just need to do clean install, which means full wipe.

yeah i wanna use the stock kernel too, does a full wipe recreate the stock kernel? so if i wanna use cm7 w stock kernel can i install edowar's latest n install stock kernel to overwrite cm7 kernel?

Reread my statement again, the ROM update include its own kernel, if you flash that it will flash to whatever kernel inside that update. If you do full wipe it will only remove all user setting since you use it, if you update kernel before that still use that kernel

ok thanks i get it, i should rephrase my question. more specifically i wanna know how to retain csl stock kernel while i flash to cm7 by edowar.. since u did it right, was wondering if u could share wit us

The 20th November version uses stock kernel, only the latest update uses modified kernel. I'm trying the newest one to see what's what. So far the battery is good without any undervolting take place, but still it looks like it sips a bit more than what I liked.
