just wondering how is the charges for basic saving account?
eg. i am looking at maybank Basic saving account info. It still mentioned 50 cents for 1st 2 transaction and there is no mentioned about IBG only 10 cent after 2/5

All CASA accounts will get 10 sen for IBG via Online/Mobile banking ... MBB already put notice to inform.

i have a question people. why can't i click on my Interbank Giro on my Hong Leong connect service? The rest of it is fine, e.g bill payments etc.

yes, i use HongLeong connect to pay off my credit card bills as well. problem is, i can never access to GIRO. hmm

From which bank ?
I've tested IBG (via M2U) from Maybank Kawanku Savings ... IBG charge = 10 sen for RM10k transfer smile.gif

The fee reduction ruling is from Bank Negara so all banks should be in compliance :

Cheque processing fees will increase from next year onwards though.

My IBG transfer from MBB to SCB arrived in SCB before 4pm today.... not just cheaper, somehow it's faster now.

Tried IBG yesterday morning.
1. IBG from maybank2u BSA -> charged RM0.10. thumbup.gif
2. IBG from HL connect Money Box (Free IBG feature) -> charged RM0.10. doh.gif

Hong Leong Mach really know how to make money !!! Did you complain to them ?

Today did a few more SCB Giro to OCBC/UOB/Citibank/CIMB all at RM0.00 charge thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

rclxm9.gif All banks also charge 10 sen - except SCB free. So pay credit card, loan everything thru your bank - no need to worry if card or loan in different bank. 10 sen la - drop on road also nobody pick up. rolleyes.gif

I just closed my MBB BSA account , as its redundant with the uniform Giro reduction.

Hmmm I thot u shud maintain it as the banking fees is lower - if normal account they charge you half-yearly fees - no?? blink.gif

Got meh, did not really check. Current account, half yearly RM10 i do know..
