I checked Bank Islam website http://www.bankislam.com.my/en/Pages/Basic...nti.aspx?tabs=1

it seems that they also only charge RM 0.50 IBG unlimited. anyone can confirm this

no one reply, I need to know which is cheapest to pay CC, since my schedule is busy to deposit cheque to all banks. before this 0.15+petrol now maybe 0.50 per bank

option:
-SCB, paying SCB CC will also free
-UOB eaccount above
-Bank Islam

I have few questions indirectly to IBG:

-I heard it is difficult to open Citibank even basic savings account. In case we have credit card with them, is it become more easier?
-I have other types of savings account with Maybank, is it possible to open another basic savings account?

Thank you for your response, open basic savings account with citibank this morning. as usual their officer push for other type of account which requires more deposit :-) and yet they themselves are not aware about the IBG charges, which she told me RM 2 per transaction

Did they give you an answer whether or not your application to open a savings account is rejected or you were asked to wait too ?
As usual, bank employees don't even know their own bank's products  doh.gif

I transfer money from my Maybank to Citibank using Maybank ATM (MEPS). I thought the cost is only RM1 but suddenly RM 4. when read Maybank website

http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/p...al/ACC-Accounts

maybe Citibank account is considered under Foreign bank...so don't use MEPS and IBG is better

yes, IBG cost 50 cents (if BSA) or RM 2 for other accounts. but this one is MEPS not Giro and pay via ATM.

can we open BSA if we have other type of savings account with maybank?
