Dear forummers

Last monday (Oct 12) my wife transferred an amount using IBG to her mother (MBB) through CIMB clicks.  The money went out, did not get refunded but her mother have not received the amount on her maybank account until today (Oct 19).

Can someone advise on what to do to check where the money has gone? icon_question.gif

My wife was the one who performed the transaction lol.

It turned out when her mother updated her bank book, the transaction got printed in between the pages so it wasn't clear.  After that when she go to counter to take out the money, the officer could not see the transaction on the book so just told her that there was no incoming transaction.  doh.gif  (FYI she doesn't have an ATM card and also no online banking so we can't check balance online or at atm machine)

Turned out to be a false alarm after all.  Thanks for the kind response! smile.gif

perhaps it's a good time for your wife to signup inline banking on behalf of her mother. just in case, as backup.

knowing most senior citizen prefer to print on bankbook cuz they can "see" the money; as a guarantee the money is "in" the account biggrin.gif

hi, just wanted to ask if perform IBFT via ATM @ CIMB, it charges RM0.53 for the transfer? Isn't it free until end of this year? I had emailed CIMB and it says it is not free if IBFT is performed over CIMB ATM but i can't find any info regarding this at their website.

I can't find a thread on IBFT or CIMB thread, so I am asking here.

no, it's not about "after 3 days".

there's a standard IBG transfer schedule, applies to all banks...
