in my opinion, the 1st thing you need to do is determine what type of traders you are. scalper, swing trader, intradays trader. from there, you can work out your way to find trading plan with clear entry & exit point, and also sounds money management. i mean, if your trading plan is 100% success like.....who was it? thomas? then sure you can trade big lots. and be rich in no time.

-------------------

that wasn't as volatile as expected. jehehehe. GU didn't even moved 30 pips:o

Most indicators are not useful, they're delayed signal... I only use RSI, candlestick, some lines and trading experience, earn little bit lol... biggrin.gif

Sry but i need to say this..

Ichimoku is not an indicator. It is a 3-Dimensional trading system.

my POV... ichimoku can be used as guide to hold position... entry from break..
i missed silver yesterday... been dancing above the cloud for few days i think... touched and shoot up... damnn..
speaking of dancing... is that a break on eur 1D????

no wonder you're questioning my previous short on gold tongue.gif

ppl who say indicator is useless make me sad sad.gif

indicator, as it name implies, is something to indicate certain characteristic of price. it's not something that you use to decide trade. it's something to help you see abstract value from your naked chart.

for example, if stoch rise above 80, it's trying to tell you that price might be overbought. but you don't simply short just because it reach 80 and started to turn around. you still wait till the price meet resistance before you consider opening a trade.

see? it's not a trade call/trigger. it simply tell you, price has now reached interesting level, you might want to pay attention to it. that's all it does.

also, indicator that has delayed signal are only lagging indicator. candlestick, horizontal line, trendline are all still an indicator. something to show you that price has reach the trade zone.

sorry again for another wall of text, but i simply can't handle ppl who blame tools just because they can't use it properly sad.gif

ha! very very true....
who ever to be blamed for bad trade is the trader & not indicators!

give a gun to a monkey & it may end up shooting itself ...
