What do you mean ovebought? If things don't look good it will soar higher. It will only do slight retracement when ppl want to take some profit and it will still climb higher, imho.

When market breaks trendline that way, it basically means that bullish momentum is picking up.

When EURUSD breaks kumo with a kumo twist as well as chikou breaking about kumo, i will be hunting for only bullish trades.

Out of curiosity, which pair are u trading to these losses?

In ichimoku, when the price was in the cloud, we never trade. Upon the breakout, only then I traded it. $44.65 is my next target due to kumo shadown. Let's see how the charts form. Many of my friends who traded this kumo breakout, made good money now G'luck!

As I have made this same comment in other forums, since gold trend is up, why not seek a good dip to buy? That way you will have less stress.

Anyhow, silver reached my first profit zone and now waiting for next entry for 2nd profit zone.

Gold chart updated with a doji formed at H4. Because H1 is bullish and H4 is bearish, thus unclear directions. Once price breaks red trendline, more bearish movement to be expected. If price breaks above kumo @ H4, expect bull to resume.

wschoo26, for more details on how i look at it, pls kindly head to www.ichimokuworld.com and read from first post. You will understand how i look at it. Also do not forget to download Gabor's free ebook on ichimoku trading system under publication > Ichimoku Beginner. It has all the basics you need to understand ichimoku. It requires a lot of chart screening to fully understand each component in more details.

Gold chart updated. The more in dance in the kumo, the sentiment will slowly turn into bearish songs.

Added on August 30, 2011, 12:18 pmIn a few weeks time, i will be in KL for business related. At the same time, i was thinking to organise a simple gathering where we can discuss on fundamentals (which i am weak at), technical analysis, or trading systems. I do not mind sharing how ichimoku works if anyone is interested. Preferable, 5-8 ppl only. Else become pasar malam, haha!

Yes definately. Don't forget the basics is still the most important thing in trading. Thus we can always talk about basics
