I agree with Kidicarus's sentiments. Even when posting in the same language also already can create exclusive cliques where only certain few only can join in the conversation, what else if you post in a different language. There's a reason why it's called a forum. So that everyone can participate, not select few only.
You're bound to meet some hindrance when you're moderating. It's never about popularity contest, it's about doing what's right in the long run.
It's "free for all" here in Ninty's Kopitiam, so no cliques here......I think. Even if there are cliques, doesn't stop anyone from posting their preferred subject to talk about, nor does it require anyone to respond to, or carry on any conversation about that subject. That's the beauty of this Kopitiam.

Most importantly no cliques. You can't afford to "berebut slicing the pie" when the pie is already this small. When the group grows to a sizable number, inevitably there will be cliques, but irregardless of whether the clique represents the majority or otherwise, R&R must prevail. So does the rights and wrongs. Just coz majority deems it is fine to pirate for example, doesn't mean it is okay to do so. Replace "pirate" with whatever relevant issue at hand.

There's also these two shows I remember fondly but I can't get the titles. One is a live action investigation series where at the end of the last episode (10th or 13th), you the audience get to use your investigative skills to determine who is the killer. The other one is another live action show ala Power Rangers that you can interact with if you buy the gun and can shoot baddies on-screen when the show is on air, LIVE! I can't remember their titles.
The only 80s TV show cartoons that have held up to the test of time look-wise is Thundercats IMO. The other 80s cartoons looks dated. There's a certain fluidity to the way those Koreans animate the Thundercats cartoon.

It's "Murder in Space". Extremely cheesy, but hey, which 80s TV show isn't?
Just coz you're a majority, and have formed a sizable group/mob, doesn't mean you can dictate the R&R. I've learnt that in the AppleByte section, and LYN certainly do things their way, not what others think is best for them. It's their house, after all.
Whatever it is, Kopitiam or not, it falls under the subset of what the LYN R&R encompasses. Just because it was not taken action upon, does not mean that it was looked upon as normal and allowable. It's is just that the roaming authorities have not come around to lay down the law, and giving you opportunities to get back to following the R&R.
Jus post your NyanCat videos and everything will be fine.
And oh, mob don't disperse, they grew in numbers. Case-in-point: LulzSec and Anonymous. The very epitome of mob mentality. And copied by the very attitudes of folks in the Console Couch.

The point is, that show is "your house". This forum is "their house", and in their house, they dictate that it's English or bust. Until they change that house rule, you can give all the examples you wanna give, but that is their rule. Just like when people are used to wearing shoes into their home, but you ask them to take them off when they visit your home. Just because you are used to do things your way, does not mean you can do it in someone else's house.
You can stay and have fun in "my house" but abide by my rules. That is what they will say.
