I dont fast, so I better dont come. You can cut the religious tension with a Wii Motion Plus if I do come.

Hence the dilemma. I'm around but I think better not be around there to stop myself from being myself. Have to do a lot of acting and pretending to be accepted while in Malaysia.

We're all adults here. What do you think "being myself" here means in this context?

QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Aug 1 2011, 04:36 PM) You are pushing yourself, no one here tries to act to be accepted, we are accepted because of who we are here Glad you think that way. Certain circles dont. I'm just making sure my presence and certain circles doesn't clash when in close proximity.Anyway, that is probably besides the point. Your intention is to get a get-together going. I am intruding that intention. My apologies. |

QUOTE(PhoenixByte @ Aug 1 2011, 05:02 PM) Not me. From someone who wants me to add him. *shudders*I understand the need to flaunt what you have. Make sure you have it in the first place. Next time someone ask those timings, I'll point them to Gundam. |

QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Aug 1 2011, 05:02 PM) KK buka at 6.30 Ironic. A non-Muslim telling a Muslim when to break fast? No offense Gundam.Added on August 1, 2011, 5:02 pmImsak here is 4.40 Added on August 1, 2011, 5:03 pmMy maid is Muslim so have to check for her The same case when I'm flying. Passanger ask when to buka puasa. They're asking from someone like me, and entrusting an important element of their faith on someone who is not qualified? What if I tell them the wrong time, would they follow? Or would they have their own interpretation of when breaking fast is? Because of this, I always decline answering their question of when buka puasa is when airborne. Not qualified to do so. This post has been edited by stringfellow: Aug 1 2011, 05:08 PM |

Sure is. I'm free to comment though. And because I extend that courtesy of expressing oneself/freedom to comment to everyone else, that I'm disinclined to acquiesce, therefore choosing separation rather than confrontation.

QUOTE(greyshadow @ Aug 1 2011, 05:15 PM) Then I guess that if they're flying the 747, they should ask the business class passengers, since they're seated higher than the cockpit? Going by your rule that is. It's the other way round, grey. You start questioning a lot of things when you're up there. Some of those questions are not reasonably answered. |

The days I'm out of Malaysia = self-therapy for me. Gundam, I feel your plight. You can't be at your best when the folks you have to deal with are the weakest link.
Temporary measures though, since in the end, I had to go back and face that shittiness again. |
