QUOTE(CuriOu5 @ Sep 23 2011, 10:29 AM) Cloth pouch wont protect glass break. The best protection is not to be careless. I dropped mine a few times already. Good thing no damage. Glass breaks depend a lot on the height and angle of the drop whether with or without casing. The glass shouldn't break so easily as it's gorilla glass on sga. the black back cover is quite grippy anyway.....unless it's the white 1 |

QUOTE(CuriOu5 @ Sep 24 2011, 01:02 AM) The important data will be your contacts which can be sync to Gmail account if you have one. Apps can be reinstalled if you have the APK files. SMS use SMS Backup & Restore. The rest you can copy to your PC. Data in the sdcard should be safe. Wow, seems kinda 'mafan' I think ill just wait for gingerbread to be released through kies Thanks btw This post has been edited by danielcmugen: Sep 24 2011, 02:56 PM |

QUOTE(n8210 @ Sep 29 2011, 05:52 PM) I found GB using a lot of ram. I couldn't get it down below 100MB. With froyo I can. So when I have a few more apps going on, froyo still lets me "work". While GB tends to freeze a bit when more apps are turned on. Anyone with GB feels the same? lol, that is what im hoping for in gingerbread Something about GB:- 2.3 Gingerbread refined the user interface, improved the soft keyboard and copy/paste features, improved gaming performance, SIP support (VoIP calls), and added support for Near Field Communication. Android 2.3 Gingerbread is the latest Android version that is available to phones. but as u said, it eats alot of ram......in froyo when the ram is kinda high, everything goes laggy even on games.....so even on high ram on gingerbread, gaming is still better than froyo(when in low ram)? |

QUOTE(n8210 @ Sep 29 2011, 07:08 PM) put it this way, in my personal experience, i find myself going to task manager more often to switch apps of, and clear things for more ram. With froyo, I dont use task manager so often. Because of my simple use, I am satisfied wtih froyo. It is, just an ACE not S2. So I dont do too much, expect too high. i was actually asking how's the performance when running 1 app at a time(let's say when browsing LYN) compared to froyo, cuz i rarely multitask sorry to trouble again btw Added on September 30, 2011, 3:13 pm QUOTE(ahgan84 @ Sep 29 2011, 11:20 PM) Now I only gt less than 20mb left. Where can I find data/log? u can uninstall updates by going to settings>applications>manage applicationsAdded on September 29, 2011, 11:21 pm How do u uninstall updates? I tot everytime u update, it will override the previous version. just uninstall updates of maps or samsung apps if u dont use them, not ur downloaded apps. for me, i recovered around 80-90mb liao This post has been edited by danielcmugen: Sep 30 2011, 03:22 PM |

Froyo and Gb would be the same in such comparison. I use opera too if you don't like the stock browser. I heard firefox also have a browser for android. check it out. [/quote] ok, tq very much |
