Gigabit and jacklow_23, r u guys happy wit gingerbread performance? Other than the sms issue happened 2 jacklow_23?

But is the overall performance after update better than froyo?

FROYO gt very poor internal memory management

if im not mistaken, i read somewhere here saying that they have more free internal memory after update to gingerbread, gingerbread got better internal memory management than froyo
that's what they say la

after update to official gingerbread, u guys got more free internal memory or not? as in gingerbread manages the internal memory better than froyo.

to me sms not an issue as i rarely use 3g to download apps......oh 1 more last thing, no need to backup contacts/apps all those to update right?

AFAIK, u can claim ur warranty as long u got the official receipt. mine was not registered as well

so as long as u got official receipt shud be ok. last time i also tried to search on registering the warranty on samsung website......but all it ask me to do is ask my dealer to activate it for the sms verification, type PC IMEI(as in ur IMEI no) and send to 62002 if ur on maxis or digi. for celcom im not sure

yes, out d.
Just updated it, it took me 3 tries. Better gaming performance than froyo! glow hockey nvr felt this smooth b4 other games also smoother! so far i am VERY happy with the update!!! tq samsung!
but 1 thing, gingerbread eat more RAM than froyo and browsing on homescreen lags sometimes

This phone is only a lower-mid range phone with only msm7227 chipset and adreno 200 gpu, so u cant expect too much from it. U sort of get what u paid for

U confirm 1st whether it is low internal memory prob by long pressing home button>task manager>summary.

If really is, u can uninstall updates of maps and samsung apps if u dun use them. Really can clear a lot of space Also maybe u can download some cache cleaner apps to clear app cache

That is A LOT of space

my sga getting laggier and laggier nowadays....browsing homescreen oso lag...using stock samsung launcher somemore...gaming now also lag nearly as bad as froyo already....... i don't know how laggy wud it be in the future
any suggestions? will factory data reset help solve this prob? (nt rooted btw)
