Unfortunately there is no further news from that case.

Someone create a facebook page about Samsung SOD and see how many "Like" the page? Maybe we can get samsung to compensate us.

Cannot assume all samsung personnel knows everything, some could be lazy and didn't even pay attention during briefing. or maybe their supervisor is the one who is lazy to update them.

Some say a log file uses a lot of memory, once deleted magic happens.

My SGA volume has a weird problem. I don't know if this is software or hardware problem. When I'm on the phone, during a call using the built in speaker, if I lower the volume, it will reduce the noise, but as I continue to talk, the volume will sometimes get louder sometime softer. Claim warranty? But it is not consistent. I cannot always reproduce it successfully.

Found another problem with my SGA. When using bluetooth, I can pic up calls but cannot listen to songs. If I play songs, the song would come out from the phone speaker. But when I make calls, I can listen using bluetooth. How to fix this?

Feels the same after the upgrade but glad to have google talk now.

Does superoneclick works on 2.3.4? I used upd_1.zip

Any easier way to restart SGA instead of pushing the power button and hold it for a few seconds? Can we customize the pull down short cuts and add other function buttons like enable/disable 3G, brightness.. something like SBsettings in iPhone.

About the Myth v1.2 ROM, there are a few steps I don't understand:-
+ Flash stock KPB = DONE
+ Flash CWM 4.0.0.9 = ??? I have downloaded the file, looked into it, but don't understand how to use it.

Added on September 27, 2011, 9:19 amI got confused. By stock rom means 2.3.4, and I tot it was 2.2.1.. and so CWM does not work with 2.2.1, and so I asked the question above.

So I hv managed to install Myth v1.2, but how do i connect back to Kies and sync my contacts?

No, didn't know I need to format the sd card to ext4. I did do a sync and backup with Kies. The matter now is Kies just show it is trying to connect. The status just keep showing trying to connect.... no unsuccessful or error msg. I have on/off my phone and pc. Still the same.

I have Mybackup app in phone. Once I restore, now I have many doubles in my contacts.

No more swype in Myth. How to get it back? Which swype app to use in Mkt?

One thing I dont like about SGA is the headphone. I cannot simply use any other headphone, plug in and listen to songs or watch movie. I must use the original SGA headphone.

Hmm... will we ever get to use CM7 on SGA?

Ahh... I checked at cynogenmod website under ST-5830 forum there is none yet. Then let's go CM7!!

Yeah, that's what I understand. No official release yet. They are asking for testers to join, right?

Added on September 27, 2011, 3:08 pmI'm already jumping over to CM7 BehradGH. But I hv problem installing it. From Myth v1.2, I install back to GB 2.3.4. Format my SD to Ext4. Put CWM back in. Wipe my partition clean and factory reset. Install behradGH, but now the screen stuck at Samsung logo.... after a while, I think due to battery save, it goes dim.... press on home button shows nothing. Should I reboot or leave it? It's part of the process?

With Myth v1.2, I would hv already booted by now.

I tried Myth v1.2 in the morning, I got it done in an hour. I have been trying behradGH for the whole afternoon and yet still cannot get it done. What am I missing on the steps below?

- flash to stock GB 2.3.4 KPB rom
- go into recovery mode, install CWM 4.0.0.9
- wipe clean and reset to factory settings
- install bedhradGH from sd card

I don't see any error msg. It says Installation completed or something like that. Then I reboot. I can get until samsung logo and no further. waited very long but the status would not change. Battery very hot. When i flash back to stock rom, i see my battery half gone. Where is my mistake?

For the contacts backup, now I use google. Sync to web via wifi.

How and where do you type the *#272*IMEI# ????

I went to swype.com to download beta version and installed successfully. Can use, but can use only English. All other languages are unrecognizable. How do I get Malay and Chinese back?

I noticed that my wifi will disconnect automatically when left unattended for some time. When I unlock my phone, wifi is missing and cannot connect until I refresh my wifi at the setup page.
