If you can, try charge your battery in front of a very very cold area, such as in front of aircon. But make sure not lousy aircon.

Aiya... there is this function "delete old messages" in samsung. If you leave it 'ticked" as selected (I think by default), then it will automatically delete old sms. Now I want to retrieve my old sms, all gone.

Actually, I feel that titanium backup is not the best. It could be better, if the backup is like an image back up on desktop. Then when I roll back, it is complete. I don't have to press and confirm one by one. It is also good to hv this function, but there are times when you just want to restore everything while on the go. Anyone using any good backup apps?

OK, after putting back T.Backup apk back into the newly flashed rom, I install TB and then start restore. I chose batch restore, but after that, it starts asking "install" or "cancel" with each apk, one by one for all the apps that I have backup earlier.
Nandroid seems interesting. But "mybackup" is not... I do not recommend it. |

Kies needs to download some files, need a bit of wait. My whole process toooooooooooooooook about 1 hour because of the download. I guess if you have unifi or something fast, then you will finish faster.

QUOTE(apau88 @ Oct 6 2011, 08:56 AM) guy help me....why mt android market stuck somehow...need to force close... Try download the market apk on pc and put into sd card. install from there. type android market apk in google. i believe the latest in 3.1.5.im new to GA....im use 2.3.4 new market.....anybody? Added on October 6, 2011, 12:29 pmDamn, some days are just not as good. I have been flashing, trying out many roms these few weeks. Now suddenly when I go back to stock rom, 2.3.4 and try to root it with superoneclick, it doesn't work any more. It just stops at step #6, waiting.... waiting. So if I use 2.2.1, then I can root it with upd_1.zip. But I cannot install titanium backup pro successfully. All I get is the TB Free version (if you understand what I mean). CWM 4 .0.0.9 also would not work in 2.2.1. I have tried to wipe cache, repartition, etc... nothing works. I have no clue what happened. This post has been edited by n8210: Oct 6 2011, 12:29 PM |

QUOTE(Isabell @ Oct 6 2011, 01:50 PM) wuwuwuwu... would someone help me please? Restart pc, and try again. Don't turn on other applications/programs. Just do kies first. Most of us, plug in and update, nothing else. Don't worry. Samsung phones are easy to handle. Won't brick so easily.i tried updating the firmware thru kies and since 30 mins ago, the firmware upgrade progress is still 0% my phone screen says downloading. how?! i scared brick my phone. |

It means froyo lo. Try check for updates for your kies. It should be version 2.0.3.11082-152. Then go to Tools > Firmware upgrade settings > tick Latest firmware auto download... something along that line.

Rooted doesn't make you boot into CWM. Too little info provided, hard to help. You are stock froyo or GB? Other roms? Can install CWM? Or how did you try to boot into CWM but fail? You see, too little info. Hard to help.

If you cannot get anything on screen, I don't think it is called bricked. It is damaged.

Cek your apn setting, menu>add new>put in your apn setting(I assume u know where to set apn?) Actually, the whole function was not available to me. After I flashed back to stock rom and then restore to my CM7, then only I get the APN setting page. Very weird. Anyway, I can add in APN manually but still I cannot use 3G, no MMS also. When I off wifi, and tick "Data Enabled", I cannot access internet. Something still wrong with my CM7? Added on October 11, 2011, 7:01 pmAlso, I found this on Digi's website Q6. I do not have the right settings on my phone, would I be able to access the Internet? a. Yes, you will be able to access the Internet even though you do not have the correct settings on your phone. DiGi has an advanced feature that allow our subscribers to connect to the Internet although they do not have the correct settings. This is to remove the barrier from accessing the Internet as well as to improve our customer experience. If you are detected to not have any of our valid APNs namely diginet, digiwap, digistrm OR digimms, you will be defaulted to the diginet APN. Hence you will be allowed to access the Internet automatically. b. If you do not wish to have the Internet or data services at all for your mobile number, you may call in to our Customer Service hotline to request for deactivation. Alternatively, you can replace your browsing APN to digimms. You may refer to Q5 in Known Issues FAQs below. Added on October 11, 2011, 7:26 pmHmmm.... after restart, reboot, restart, reboot for a few times and now I have 3G. Really weird. This post has been edited by n8210: Oct 11 2011, 07:26 PM |
