just checked the update from htc facebook page, they'll roll out the official unlock for Sensation by Aug. There is a clause that unlocking may void all or part of the warranty. Meaning to say that even with official unlock of bootloader, it will void the warranty.

super wipe is recommended if you're switching to another ROM.

lets say currently i am running on leedroid rom v.1.1 and upgrading to leedroid rom 1.2, super wipe is not a must

if i am currently running on leedroid rom v.1.1 and want to flash arhd v.1.1.4, super wipe is needed before i flash to arhd rom.

leedroid rom users, v.1.2 with kernal v.1.3 is available.

you might pm maxgenesis for volume+ to increase your speaker volume.

bro, define the "looks" in leedroid. as far as i know, there is no visual change but just few extra features (change of battery & wifi icon, some extra features in quick setting, power menu) apart from that, i dont see any visual change (or i might have overlooked)

well i'm not after eye candy rom, but leedroid serve me well in terms of performance, smoothness, battery performance so far. shall try other rom for comparison.

My stock rom is 1.35.707.1

i dont think the update is applicable to me, since i am running on custom rom which is based on europe rom.

Performed super wipe and reflash LeeDroid, my titanium backup doesnt work.

Care to share how to backup those application(s) installed to recover after reflash?

my experience while running on stock rom, i use gps fix to lock gps more accurately. it is always out before i use gps lock. there is another recommended application call gps status and toolbar, i personally havent try it before.

currently running on leedroid rom, i even uninstall the gps fix cos it lock pretty fast and accurate!

patched the rom 1.2, wasnt so smooth as compared to rom 1.1, kernel 1.2 and i perform super wipe, flash rom 1.1 and 1.2, at time feels laggy and system consume more ram than previous version of rom. hoping next release will solve my issue, pretty impressed with goodwork of leedroid

normally you run the gps fix or gps status and toolbar 1st before you run the location or maps. it works on my set on both wifi and 3G previously on stock rom.

i've tested premium navigation once and it works without running gps fix (back then during stock rom). perhaps you can try it out at KK town this weekend for a hands on experience?

@Azel: you're currently running on which rom? check the "Locations", then you can access to premium navigation and for the 1st time access, it will prompt for the serial number which you can find it on the leaflet in your box together (where your phone menu is).

i was there 3 yrs back..lol

i think you're referring to the premium navigation. pls check your premium navigation serial number (from the box that keeps your user manual) and key in the number, then you're good to go. it is just the voice navigation is valid for 30 days.

HTC is not stupid, it is just they want to make it clear to those who want to root = no warranty and have a record "officially"

last time when you s-off with their patch, do you still have it? you need to provide them the S/N to generate the code to proceed s-off-ing your sensation.

i tried the link just now and it still works.
