Played around with leedroid v.2.4 matching unity v.9 kernel for about 90 mins, cpu setting couldnt stick at 1512mhz for long and revert back to 1188mhz. phone gets a lil warm when running at 1512mhz thou. not an issue as i can live with 1188mhz clock speed. improved smoothness and interaction / navigation, scores higher in both antutu and cf benchmark as compare to stock kernel.

OKAY!
Have been putting this off for a while now but I am going to try InsertCoin ROM. The way he does it with incremental patch is a plus point for me considering the fact that number 1, I have crappy internet speed and number 2, I'm not always on wi-fi hence my download limit do concern me sometimes. Yeah, fickle reasons, I know.....okay I admit it I have ORD! Anywho, have a nandroid backup ready and waiting for the ROM + patches to finish downloading |

QUOTE(AzeL @ Sep 6 2011, 07:31 PM) I actually bought it off Market, yeah its kinda expensive I know but then again its worth every RM as you'll be playing it nonstop afterwards. Not to mention very high replay value. I played that non stop during the Raya holidays and only stopped for hanging out with friends where beer and shisha are involved hahaha. Kinda hard not to play it even at work,have...to...resist.... does stable ROM means there will be no version upgrade? It's a solid, stable and awesome looking ROM without you having to add anything after flashing. |

QUOTE(akmal89 @ Sep 6 2011, 09:57 PM) stable = no serious issues/bugs or no bugs that will affect everyday normal phone functions etc.Version upgrades will always come out, in fact, it's a good thing when they have version upgrades, it means something gets improved or something better gets added. However, you may view the respective ROMs changelog to see the change details. If it does not interest you or you think the improvements/additions are not really relevant to you and you are happy with your current ROM version then no need to flash. |

QUOTE(bernardryan @ Sep 6 2011, 05:23 PM) You serious? If you are serious then, usually most phones are locked as in you cannot access the ROM portion of your phone and therefore not being able to tweak some settings. I am guessing your phone is S-on. If you want to get S-off, go here and follow the steps. Thaaannkkks sifu... i have read your link.. but its seems very very complicated, i am not a IT person... scare when i half way did anything wrong, the phone will habis.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192300 Once you get S-Off, you can flash custom roms that have been tweaked for speed, bloatware removed (useless stuff) and other things done to your sensation to make it more optimal. One example is the Sensation is running on MSM 8660 processor which is a Dual-core processor clocked at 1.2Ghz. The new version of the HTC Sensation featuring Beats headphones will have a Dual core process clocked at 1.5Ghz. These are the same processor but our 1st generation Sensation was underclocked because the battery is a Piece of Shit (1500mAH). Custom roms have already included settings to enable your sensation to run at 1.5Ghz and some uptil 2.0Ghz(rarely seen), 1.75Ghz (stable, mostly seen). Signing out... |

Only significant diff is the internal memory, Sense 3.5 will be ported sooner or later once devs get their hands on it.Wow and the specs:- 1) 1.5Ghz 2) 1GB ram 3) 16GB internal memory 4) 4.3" display 5) HTC sense 3.5 This confirmed better than SGS2 already. source: http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_ruby_gets_caug...s-news-3093.php QUOTE(akmal89 @ Sep 6 2011, 10:30 PM) I forgot, but as far as I remember for us "normal" users not much use I suppose. This post has been edited by AzeL: Sep 6 2011, 10:51 PM |
