thanks mate for the SD Card inputs.

now there is few concerns:
1. capacity vs speed (class)
2. manufacturer warranty (5 years, or life time)

sandisk, transcend and kingmax.. headache..

I'm using a class 10 16G and a class 6 32G ..... In terms of transfer rate , there is actually not much difference . BUT , if u do alot of HD video recording or watch movies on your hp , class 10 is a must . It's not that smooth on a class 6 compared to a class 10 .

already done that... and tat only works if usb cable is UNplugged

my problem is when USB cable is PLUGGED-IN the screen won't timeout...

there is no need to factory reset cause there's a setting on the phone for this... last time i've set it to not timeout when USB cable is in...
now i just can't find back that setting..

which rom that you're flashing? flashing kernel is like how you flash rom. place the .zip file at root of the sd card, flash it via cwm recovery
