finally found out why my DHD can't work well with ARHD. Just now hand itchy go updated the kernel to Unity V9 (my DHD is on VU 2.35 with Unity kernel V5), upon reboot, the same problem when flashed with ARHD occurs - instant freeze once connected to internet. So i tried flashing the default oc speed patch from the VU thread and finally got my DHD working again. So the conclusion is: My DHD cannot handle the default OC speed of ARHD.

Finally can rest my mind wondering why my DHD cannot work with ARHD - it is not K9 Mail or whatever else problem. It is default OC speed set at too high.

EDIT: Actually flashing the Unity V9 kernel to get the 2 way call recorder working. Now my DHD will record all the conversation during a call. Looking for this function since i got my Desire July last year.

not only currently - it is past, now and future....

they never fix the features which they advertised heavily during the launch of Desire HD - the HTCSense.com is just a hoax that never materialise. Can we file a class action suit to HTC?

since bro syuki highly recommend it, flash mine with rcmix runnymede yesterday night, so far so good. Fast and smooth.

EDIT: anyway to change the wallpaper display back to earlier type? i.e. the wallpaper will move when you move the homescreen left and right. Got the Koi wallpaper before flashing sense 3.0 ROM, now a bit wasted coz can only see the centre section of the "pond".

why runnymede still bundled with the old Market? what's the way to update it to the latest version?

it is not an issue...lol... it is customisable under Menu>>Setting>>RCMix3D Tweaks>>Sense Options>>Enable Custom Button. I restore mine to the default "Personalise" function.

sense 3? I thought the latest Runnymede already running Sense 3.5.

not really, i still love my DHD. But getting other gadgets (new DSLR), so not much things to post about DHD nowadays.

Getting a Android 10" soon but still undecided on which one to get - now considering between the Lenovo Thinkpad tablet and the upcoming Asus Transformer II.

most likely will get one after Asus Transformer II is announced. Most likely will get the Thinkpad Tablet coz will be using it as a semi-business tool. But if Transformer II's specs is too irresistible, then might be wait for it.

I did consider the Galaxy Note too but the screen size like not here (not so pocketable like normal phone) nor there (screen a bit too small if use as tablet). So DHD+10" tablet is more usable for me.

Just now passby a Samsung booth - play around with Galaxy II S and Galaxy Tab 10.1. The tablet is really thin and light. watching youtube on the Tab is superb.

leaning more towards Thinkpad Tablet becoz it has more business features and another very important factor for me is its build-in SD card slot. I will be using this pairing with an 500GB 2.5" external HDD as my photo bank of DSLR when i am going overseas trip.

why would you do that? the back is normally covered by case - or you are using it naked?

does anyone having problem with USB tethering on Runny 1.3 and 1.5?

old or new market? I found that the new market is more problematic although the UI is much nicer.

what rom are you using? I am using RCmix Runny 1.3 and then 1.5, both with old market. Actually i found the latest market apk and upgraded while using 1.3, but the lagginess of the new market make me decided to stay with the old market after i flashed 1.5.

cannot just unselect the input method at your keyboard selection? I think it might be a build in kb input method, just like thai language. So cannot be uninstalled but i think most likely can be disabled.

just use market enabler to fake any US network operator but need to root your phone though. Got my flickr app from Market with this method. Else, google for the apk, should be able to find it at XDA.

no symptom of failure before this? random restart etc?

have you tried pull out the battery and reinsert it and start? might be battery problem? i think so far never heard of this problem before.
