Depends on the user. Diff radio give you a diff signal strength and quality. Matching radio (plus a RIL) also play an important part in your battery life.

Now you phone using Stock / Original rom ah.. ? If so, then you need to downgrade first. Yup, just follow the step.

Please follow it properly. Do not skip a step.

That's pretty much what Radio is.. from what I read on the forums.. this is what I learned about Radio..

Its like another CPU program that works independently, only for the telco signal, wifi signal, bluetooth etc etc which makes up for the core phone applications.

So we cannot have applications that will hog all the cpu and memory til you cannot receive calls, cannot receive sms... so thats why the radio is there.... so that even when you are hogging all memory for applications and stuffs.. when there's a call coming in, you can answer (or of course cancel it )
