but for some, at 90k, i can have more accessories than a lancer.

remember that the lancer ex doesnt have paddle shifters

and the gt doesnt have the cruise controls(unless mod)? the GT doesnt have the chrome door moulding which the Evo and inspira has.

furthermore, the 2010 lancers dont have auto headlamps and auto wipers. to some, it is another way to get a cheaper lancer

there is no right or wrong, to each his own. the inspira owners will say, " why pay extra for something similiar".

Everyone is happy with their car. Its just "some" ppl who are trying to force down their logic into other ppl throats and justify modifying everything to give the impression that they paid 120 for a lancer and not 90k for their proton version.

I don't think people would mind if you convert your body kit exactly like Evo X. I'm planning to do the same too. But to put Mitshu emblem in your Inspira just make people think you are ashamed with your car producer.

The analogy is more like this:-
Some Malaysian youngster love to look like Western people by coloring their hair, put contact lens into their eye and dressing like them. It's ok and acceptable since it more because of trend. People still recognize them as an Asian. What's not ok is when you actually ignore your own culture, ignore to learn your national/mother tongue language and you trying so hard to make people believe you're from Western country. In other word, Western wannabe.

I'm not saying what you do is wrong. Just i can understand why many people hate wannabe. Not to mention JPJ not allowed such mod too (changing other car producer emblem)

No point arguing. It's the owner's car, he or she can do what ever they want with their car. Some prefer to put mitsu badge and mod all to looks like a lancer. negative view, lancer wanna be. Positive view, they save 30k. Can afford a lancer does not mean u have to pay extra 30k to own it.

I bought an inspira becoz I like lancer. It's not that I can afford or not, but mitsu didn't bring manual in .
But for sure I won't put in a mitsu badge.

i actually owned a modified fd 2.0 but it was stolen. (obviously richer than you cost the base car is 130k plus mods which easily went into 10k, so do not come and talk cock sing song about money)
