I don't know why teckching replied this way "there'r are quite a lot talking too much after 2007' which mean he indirectly saying that those forumer who registed after 2007 are a serious burden for this Lyn community ?
Teckching you have an serious mouth letting it here.
*
I think he was referring to forumers who talked about high temps on their laptops. wink.gif

the fan is control by the system
if the fan is in full speed GPU temperature just 60-65 it will cooling down very fast.

So now it is working like normal? If so, I would like to know why previous auto-fan speed will cause overheat/shutdown but now it is ok.

If my laptop is truly fixed, then kindly send back my laptop and I will close this thread. smile.gif

Note : Keep in mind that there are still some unanswered questions like why the fan was running 100% by itself (without anybody noticing it) but as long as the laptop is fixed, I'm willing to let it go.

On & off I see him online but no news up to now.

Didn't want to mention this but I purposely did not want to make any noise. See how long it takes to settle my problem.

Updates:

It has been a week plus since I received my laptop back. Since his reply in this thread, there has been NO explanation regarding what had happened and what was done. Basically, I did not receive any other news or updates. I'm still in the dark about what happened, especially the issue surrounding the fan problem. What I got was just a phone call from his worker confirming my address and then received my laptop the next day.

Laptop condition after receiving my laptop:
1) Graphics worked perfectly
2) My laptop will still heat up, especially around the touch pad and left side of the touch pad
3) Wifi/Bluetooth switch jammed (was working fine before the 2nd time I sent the laptop to him)

Now I have to run the laptop on a notepad cooler and also OPEN the notebook backplate to cool things down a bit. Just that a notepad cooler has such lousy airflow.

There are many unanswered questions but what I really want to know was why the fan was running at 100% when I first received the repaired laptop when teckhing actually claimed that the fan setting was NOT touched.........

Overall, I'm dissatisfied with the service provided. Will keep this thread opened for any last comment before I close it for good.

Hi, laptop received. Everything works fine except that the laptop fan spins at maximum immediately at boot.

It's normal beb....

To be truth. Some buyer treat the laptop as high end laptop games.Even my friend use alienware complain of lagging. If more higher setting mean more heat.Ya
will see outside it's clean but inside.nobody know.
My Advice for laptop user.
Buy ps3 or pc for playing games to prolong use of the laptop.Laptop most not build for gamers.

Sometimes also new laptop user will install all the latest pirate application.Since it was pirate nobody know the minimum spec of application requirement.
when slow complain.

laptop heating up near the touch pad + keyboard area is normally caused by bad ventilation. After I've cleared the dust clogged from the CPU/GPU area...it was ALOT better. But I think techking has cleaned it?

as for your wifi and bluetooth switch jammed? probably it wasn't fixed back properly after checking..

Just my 2 cents.

I used my laptop for surfing the internet only as I have my primary rig (Q6600/GTX460).

The inside of the laptop is quite clean before and after I sent for repair. At the moment, I'm running the laptop with the backplate opened (and a laptop cooler blowing on it). The interior components/vents are squeaky clean. wink.gif

As mentioned above, there's no dust blocking any of the components.

Whether it is special or not is not important to me. What's important is the way teckhing handled my case, which to me, is NOT professional. As mentioned before, I was not given ANY explanation at all (probably because they also didn't know what actually happened!).

after reading this thread i do agree with TS , that the way
teckhing response to TS and blaming TS this and that is very very unacceptable. No doubt you could be well known for repair service but first hand in giving your workers to repair and sending back first time without the consent of TS?

TS has already send POS twice without complaining much and just want to get his computer fixed and yet the issue is being pushed over..

no reply and ignore this thread shows another character!

as said by whojen, the total ignorance by techking towards this thread reflects badly on the way he handles his post-sales service.

he did say he change the original chip to a newer version . ur chipset was form 2007 and he said he change to a year 2010 chipset. could it be that the newer chipset runs much hotter then the original chip thus making the fan to run at full rpm and also the laptop to run much hotter?
