for me i just choose different input method, i using Hanwriting IME for handwrite chinese word, english original samsung keypad have it, u can choose handwriting box 1 or 2

erm, y my SGS2 no chinese input de? even the language got no chinese. Its SME set.

use google pinyin

Try this....

1st - Go to settings >> Language and Keyboard >> Select Input Method >> Samsung Keypad.
2nd - Go to Message >> Press the setting button on the left side of the spacebar.
3rd - Select Handwriting box 2.

Not sure if this is what you want.
