Benny,
Earlier I root my s2 with cf_root...kf1.tar from xda forum.
Now can I just upgrade its stock firmware to this one using odin?

Is the procedure same like upgrade to lite.ning rom?
Will this wipe clesn the s2?
*
You can just use ODIN to flash any firmware. The process is same as flashing Litening rom. New users I always advised stay away from samfirmware.com unless you understand what you are doing. Flashing firmware directly from samfirmware has cause many new users many problems leading to bricking , formatting off internal sd etc because users just follow blindly some rules without understanding
I'd suggest you stick to versions KG2 or KG3 obtained it from intratech at XDA. Even intratech advised not to flash this China firmware but I am still doing it just for testing purposes. Flashing official firmware will wipe your phone clean

Yeah, that's the problem with the stock browser. If you care much on privacy, before ending your browsing session. Open up  a new windows (tab) which definitely load default home page. Then close the first windows (tab) before pressing the home button. The browser will suspend after a while after pressing the home button but for me the privacy is the most important thing. Do not want someone else oppps my last browsing session  wink.gif

The reason my gf always buffer show using my phone. So she kinda lazy press the back back back thingy. Today she left my phone on the same page. I worry that it will run background and my 5g data allocation habis before next round. Haha

well i'm one of those suffering from Nokia's two most epic failure in smart phones: N78 and N97. N97 is the worst, the only thing that i feel kesihan for throwing it aside inside the drawer is its 32gb internal storage. if only i could take out the 32gb and exchange wif SGSII's 16gb.... lol

stock browser reli is a pain in arse. dun have exit option, only can keep on press back, back, back and back @@

Yalo! I totally hate that. Jesus Christ! Why must press back so many time wor. Damn!

Finally i got my SGS 2  rclxm9.gif

But i have a question to ask, is this SGS 2 really has 16gb internal memory?

The reason i asking this is becasue when i go to setting then go to storage, I notice there r 3 memory portions : SD Card (7GB), USB Storage (12GB), and device memory (1.9GB). What are these USB Storage and device memory? And i notice that all the app download will be stored in device memory.... so when i totally consume the 1.9GB in the device memory, i cant download and install any app?

Can someone please clarify me...? thank u..

Your's is Recovery 3e right? Then find a menu "Format Data" or something like that. Then reboot. Else, last resort flash stock firmware.

Here's my issue, the 2GB system storage is reaching its end as too much apps and games i've installed...
Meanwhile the 12GB USB storage which is also the internal memory still has plenty of free space, how do i transfer the apps and games into it to free up the 2GB system storage?

I've tried app2sd, but the message i get is only "not enough memory" which i guess might cause of i do not have an external sd card...
(PS: dont tell me to buy a sd card to solve my problem, i obviously not that idiot to understand this solution but im looking for other possibility)

Wonder if any pros able to provide me a solution?

you did a legal thing, factory reset is a normal thing and definitely within the warranty bounds, if like that also they say void warranty and charge you, you can start shouting ad laugh.gif
