It was said that it caused by KG6. Even on SensatioN rom also has some battery drain.

I tested via SensatioN using Lulz kernel with super UV.

8 hours of sleep - 38% battery drain

wifi is on and background sync is set to auto izit? my sensation (still at 1.1 la, later oni update) is giving me 4 percent drop whole nite with wifi off wor

My SGS II..normally with wifi off..after 8 hours sleep..it drain 0-1% only

VR2.3 gave me 7-13% drop under same condition Orz

after try Litening 5.0, 4.2, finally shifted to 3.2 and the battery seems good!

Hi, new SGS2 user here.. got my phone on last thursday, but the first phone I got, had a little problem, when i set the display a bit darker, i can see black lines across the screen, it is more obvious when i use the screen test software, and set to gray color, i can see hundreds of darker and lighter lines(tiny lines blinking).. the next day, i brought it back to the seller, he test it, and immidiately replace me with another unit.. excellent service by First Touch Kota Bharu..

Seems like that is how it should be with litening rom. Guess it's time for me to go back to stock then I've used mine with nothing on too no wifi no data no bluetooth yet the battery is still draining like crazy.

With stock and the same usage condition. Full charge 100%, after a day (24 hrs) without much usage, battery is at 95%.

which version of the stock rom are you on?

Guys, do u have any problem with SGS2 screen brightness? i've compared mine with my fren's. mine is dimmer, his is brighter...

Did you set auto brightness? Maybe your friend set it.

yes we both set it to auto brightness... i even tried to set it manually..
i found out that my screen is more yellowish... is it normal?

anyone here knows how to unroot? i've flashed back to Stock ROM....but i still can access root =_= tried using the terminal emulator =_=

my LCD got defect though very minor 1. thinking of sending it back for warranty

as far as i know, no 2 amoled screens are made the same, but here's the bad news, amoleds are made blue-er than usual for a special reason, the organic substance inside the amoled will degrade with usage , so if yours is yellower it means your amoled screen is more degraded than your friend's, which also explains why his is brighter, but there shouldnt be such a huge difference, if really obvious, go and replace it

but we had just bought it, brand new.. not even a month old. so fast degraded? mine is original samsung, his is ap...

No this is incorrect, it's just two different screen that existed in SGS2. And it's also ridiculous to make it display blue stronger as this will only speed up the degration.

888kb24, you can see one thing, it's true that yours is slightly yellowish than it should, but your fren one is also at the same time slightly blueish than it should(which is what most of us own). And you can compare a 2nd thing. With your fren unit, when u turn the unit even ever so slightly off angle, the whole screen will get even bluer, a strong blue tint will cover the whole screen while viewing off a straight angle. While with your yellowish screen, you should be able to off angle your unit quite some degree to get the screen to turn blue slightly only. I'm still not 100% sure so u might be able to test it out.

If it's like what I said, then it's up to u whether u want a blueish screen with serious viewing angle issue, or a slightly yellowish screen with pretty much no viewing angle issue. The sad thing is none are perfect though
