Hi, new SGS2 user here.. got my phone on last thursday, but the first phone I got, had a little problem, when i set the display a bit darker, i can see black lines across the screen, it is more obvious when i use the screen test software, and set to gray color, i can see hundreds of darker and lighter lines(tiny lines blinking).. the next day, i brought it back to the seller, he test it, and immidiately replace me with another unit.. excellent service by First Touch Kota Bharu..

QUOTE(nicregi @ Aug 8 2011, 04:58 PM) ***...so unlucky meh? Sorry >.< Sorry, I'm noob about flashing stuff.. in above step you mentioned, using which software to do it? sorry ya...Okay try this. Later when electric is up, 1. Go in recovery, wipe everything, cache and dalvik 2. Select turn off phone 3. Go into download mode again, reflash. Alternatively, you could just try to reflash and see how it goes. If goes into bootloop, just wipe and flash back. Added on August 8, 2011, 5:00 pm Yes use it if you like. U can go to userbar.ba (if I nto wrong). google for userbar and there will be a full list of bars. That....if you like to have more options.... |

Just now i ticked re-partition during flashing XXKG6 as shown by this guide http://androidflip.com/android-2-3-4-ginge...sung-galaxy-s2/. After finish flashing, I tried to search for more info, but surprisingly, other websites, mentioned NOT to tick the re-partition.... will it do any harm to my phone?
Also, after flashed to XXKG6, my wifi signal become weaker than XXKG1 |

Will the 're-partition' change the file system? for example in Ms Windows NTFS to FAT32? how to revert it back to ori? Thanks.

After searching everywhere for the info on Re-partition, I found that it is OK to tick repartition as long as we have a correct .PIT (Partition Information Table) file. if wrong PIT file were used, it will brick the phone and there is no way to recover it, except send it to Samsung service centre.
