Hi, im using maybank 2 cards now and i need second card because i have the amex RM50 weekend cashback covered with my almost RM1k TNB monthyl bill. So need other cards for optimum cashback/pts.

1. Annual Income: 55k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferably

3. Card required for: All purchases, petrol, meals, shopping, travels, utilities being the major spending.

4. Existing credit cards if any: maybankard 2 cards

5. Looking at CC from: Any bank

Get OCBC Ti, best card to couple with Maybankard2Card. smile.gif

wow this is really helping me to decide.

one question though..can a contract based employee eligible to apply for a cc?

Can, I got all my credit cards when I was a contract based employee. I managed to even get the strict OCBC Titanium during that time.
Only my recent Stan Chart Visa Plat was obtained when I'm already converted to permanent position.

1. Annual Income: ...

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must

3. Card required for: Petrol, Cash Back/Rebate, Overseas Transactions, Online Shopping & bill payments, General retail shopping, Dining out, Government Assessments and other bills.

4. Existing credit cards if any: UOB One, MBF, Giant Citi, CIMB Master World

5. Looking at CC from: Maybank 2 Cards

6. Others: Just want some opinions. Looking at using the card to pay bills online via M2U. Also want pay my card using M2U instead of banking in cheques to the other banks, since my main accounts are with MBB. Also thinking of cancelling the UOB one card and getting this 2 cards for petrol, rebate and collect points at the same time. Any suggestions on should I get Maybank2 cards or consider OCBC Titanium?
*
Get both. smile.gif
Maybank2Card is basically useful for AmEx only. As it gives 5x treat points 24/7 and 5% rebates only during weekends. The VISA/Master Card is basically not useful most of the time.
So, OCBC Ti is useful to complement the absence of VISA/MasterCard which is widely accepted compared to AmEx.

Thanks for the suggestion. smile.gif
I'll look into OCBC Ti to see what type of promotions they usually have. The 5% rebate for OCBC Ti is also for all spendings right?
*
No. 5% only for groceries, utilities bill, petrol and dining.
The rest is 1%.
There's a dedicated thread for OCBC Ti in this section, please check out out.
I'm on mobile now, so it's a bit inconvenient to paste you the link.
