I'm using stock tyre too the NCT 5, PSI i not sure, but I pump front 210 , behind 190 (I follow the instruction stick on the door)  if got passenger at behind, behind will incrase to 200 to 210.
Sometimes will feel like the tire looks like not enough air, but advise from SC or Tyre shop that is normal coz wanna make sure the tyre surface fully kiss the road and last long abit.

But of course, the car will took more fuel to run.
*
U must know the law of physics behind this.. If u inflate it too high, during highway run when the tyre heats up the air inside will expand. If it's overinflated this may shorten the lifespan of the tyre or cause uneven threadwear.

For me, 33 psi front 30 psi back
For you surely is ASS ma.  laugh.gif

The instruction is for when your tyres are cold or not moving for long time, correct me if I am wrong.
*
It's cold pressure. When the tyre warms up the it'll be slightly more inflated.

After SC inspect my car, they told me that is the power steering problem. need to change rubber at power steering which will cost me RM150++. I told them i have extended warranty for that and they said it is wear n tear thing? should i pay them?

*
U tell him.. PPLYN TS said that his Putra is the best.. The fastest, the most luxurious, the nicest, looks the best & can beat Ferrari/Lamborghini/Mercedes SLS/SLR/Bentley Supersport.. Even Bugatti Veyron also loose.. Rolls Royce soundproof like 1st generation Datsun 120Y compared to his car..

Oh ok.
Thanks bro.
Thanks for the link.
btw xan and guys, I wondering if one or two plug spoil will cause jerking when moving during the engine in cold condition?
*
Yeah it can cause ur car to jerk. But on all conditions, not only during cold. Faulty ignition coil can cause heavy jerking too. If ur car is using spark plug cables (just for general knowledge as all Persona/PEs uses ignition coil), check if the spark plug cable is melted or came in contact with some metal parts in the car as this may cause short circuit & as the appropriate voltage is not sent to the spark plugs, it may cause ignition retardation, thus causing the jerkings.

theoritically putra of cause will have better NVH, because .
1. putra is small and slimer than PE and it abit rounded than PE.
2. the most importent is Putra only got 2 door and 2 window so the gap for noise and wind sound more lesser than PE lah..... doh.gif
3. Putra internal roof using pvc lather warp and have thin spongy filet inside now all car are using fabric card board type for inner roof it is just like the egg tray wrap with fabric. shakehead.gif
*
Try a Satria/Satria Neo then come back tell me whether their NVH is better.

dun need so angry gua ohmy.gif i juz wanna knw whether is true or not lo..since putra new car price is near to RM80k,so i juz wanna knw whether putra NVH is better than wira or not lo tongue.gif u drive putra b4 tis?
*
No angry ah. Feel ur fren very lansi oni. As if all other cars in the world are inferior compared to his Putra. Or maybe his ears got insulated from all the rattles & noises from his turbo exhaust d? wink.gif

Satria/Satria Neo different story because the front and back wheel short distance the NVH will accumulate in the room of car and also they don't have boot so it will be bad NVH.
*
laugh.gif Then mind explain why Scirocco's NVH so darn nice? It's all down to the material used & R&D on aerodynamics. Putra is literally a rebadged Lancer CC, so the aerodynamics are fine, no complaints there. But the materials used inside; Have u ever taken off the door panel of a Putra before?

More observations fr PE Auto M-Line:
(1) speed 100km/h @ rev 2600 ;
    speed 110km/h @ rev 2900
    is it normal?
(2) feel a bit shaking at around 110km/h and above.
(2) cornering is stable -- car planted to the ground eventhough my heart is floating inside my body.
(3) PE's white color is Proton White.

130 KM/h @ 3500 RPM...

Steering shaking is due to improper balancing or overinflated tyre..

Cornering if not stable then there's no buying point for PE d..

maybe due tohis exhaust noise lo..but honestly,do u think the wira and putra NVH will be same???since the price of wira and putra was much difference lo..so if consider price range, wira and persona are cheaper than putra lo..so maybe will be better NVH for putra, isnt it?
*
The reason why Proton overcharge Putra & sell it to us is because of it's engine & it's sporty characteristics. It's like buying a Ferrari at RM 1 mil; the NVH is not neccessarily better than a car that costs a tenth of its' price. Price doesn't justify everything, my dear friend.

our PE aerodynamic is  doh.gif lo..tats why NVH not good as putra, rite?my fren car was use adjustable absorber and 17inch rim wit 205/40/17..according from him,the car still feel stable when cruising 200kmh..original putra weight is 1075kg,but his car is 1170kg nw..got 3 amp and 1 12inch woofer in car..somemore engine oso transplant to evo3,i think tat cause his car weight more heavier than stock lo tongue.gif
*
If u're using adjustable absorber on ur car with 17 inch rims & ur car still feel floaty at ~200KM/h then u really can throw ur car away d. Harder absorbers have less rebound rates compared to stock absorbers as the stock suspension is tuned mainly for a balance between comfort & handling. The only one sane reason that u wanna change ur absorber to sport suspension is because u wanna improve ur handling. Other than that, it's really pointless as ur ride is gonna be as hard as sitting on 4 rolling bricks. Don't go tell ur fren what I said, later he sure come tell u his Putra smoother than S-class wan.

but the wheelbase so short,is it handling good meh?
*
Shorter wheelbase means ur centre of gravity is better, and the lack of the overhang at the back of ur car reduces the overall weight of ur car, thus the rear of the car wont swing so violently when the driver is taking sharp & fast corners.

My friend Waja manual use straight muffler, damn huge damn noisy. When press pedal & let go sounds like shooting gun. Pang pang pang. I ask him u tak sakit telinga meh ur car that noisy? He ask me back. Where got noisy? My car so silent nia. Sat his car once, never wanna sit in it again cos the ride is damn bumpy (Duke highway, his car also 17 inch with sport suspension) and the exhaust really gave me a headache only after 10 mins of the ride.

hadling is playing around the balance of few combination factor not only wheel base, weight and center of gravity of the car,  it can be enhance by wheel size like yous, absorbers, stabilizing bars and the aero dynamic body kit (only if car traveling in high speed)
*
200 KM/h is nothing lah... For our PE aerodynamic kit cannot create any downforce at all..

Cornering it depends.. Certain corner especially the flyover will have rubber in middle of the each road which joints the road.. when u make corner and u pass by the rubber (black color), there will be slight shake and ur car will bump a bit. At this point u feel its not smooth...

If no rubber and make a corner, it definitely will smooth... max i made corner so far was 80km/h which the corner a but sharp also.. smile.gif

Added on August 12, 2011, 12:52 am
I agree with you. Its just made for stylish....
*
That's because the rubber gives less traction than tarmac surface.. The rubber is very slippery actually.. If u got the chance to stop at the side of the road & touch the rubber u'll know how slippery it is..

Yes..Thats why im not really dare to do a heavy/speed cornering on road which have below two things

1) rubber
2) sandy road surface

I scared my car will skid over or loose control... Slow is safe for me..
*
Also on cement surfaces in parking lots.. These are extremely slippery especially after rain when the cars bring the rain water into the parking lot.. U imagine lah.. even on cement surface also people can fall down because it's slippery.. What are the chances of ur car skidding? wink.gif
