I'd doubt and based on The Inquirer's rumour, a lot of them are holding out for the X800GTO

most important for me is drivers and stablality, if u get ati card, make sure u get a reliable brand, ~~ i encounter darn lots of driver conflict and instability even using thier official release....
this never happen to nvidia, well, maybe just my luck, but ati drivers are just too messy, i preffered guru3d ones~~ oh yah , most games nowadays optimise for nvidia more, so u must decides on wat games u play most ,so u 'll make the right decision on the long run~~ good luck~ |

QUOTE(antonio_zth @ Sep 12 2005, 05:39 PM) You should read my review earlier. Here's the review itself QUOTE 2nd run after embarassingly realising that I forget to reset the multi and was benching at 2.8, now with core 560 memory 1125 and at 3.4Ghz now yielded about 4656 marks. 3D Mark 2003 was abit disappointing as barely able to crak the 10k barrier. Obtained 9966 marks so far. Determined to find a good rig and max out the darn thing's potential (Maybe the Sapphire's cooler sucks..I dunno) Same card except PCB is red in colour |

QUOTE(KilJim @ Sep 12 2005, 10:59 PM) By next month or so 6600GT prices are scheduled for another RM100 reduction. So it'd be pretty hard unless the X800GTO does deleiver what it promises which is budget end 12 pipeline performance. |

maybe 6600gt can produce better quality & more details image due to SM3.0 support. Neway what for got a very nice image but cant play smoothly? In easy word lagging .. I'm sure x800gt beat 6600gt in most games & benchies. Who cares whether this x800gt is a rejected r480 core? Remember AMD64 3500+ clawhammer which most people said that is rejected athlon FX with half cache disabled? Yet many top overclocker use it coz of its good performance..
I'm not ATi fanboy coz last time i alwiz recommend 6600/6600gt to my friends who has only little budget.. |
