To me this usage=standby is software problem.
I also faced it once. Caused by installing an app from app store. I solve it by removing that app.
Did you jailbreak the phone?
Any apps you install?

Now you can try:
1. Restore the iOS again.
2. Don't restore from backup; setup as new phone instead.
3. Don't install anything yet, just try and see how it goes.

If like this the problem still exists, then I also no idea lurrr

If you wan swype function in iPhone you need to jailbreak your phone. That tweaks call iswipe at Cydia but of cod is not as good as samsung. Bout the unlimited call logs also from Cydia but need to pay. Can't remember the name and how much.

Is there a way to extract GPS coordinates from Maps in iPhone?

After a year both mine and my gf iPhone is getting sluggish.

Do I need to do a reformat like computer, clean install?

Or is there any other solutions?

Hey guys, I'm going to sell my iPhone 4 on tomorrow, so what I can do on the spot when COD with the buyer so that to clear all the data / content on my iPhone so that the information such as my iTunes account / any other relevant data will be deleted. Is it possible to do a factory reset / clean format to ensure that the phone itself is brand new without any content left without connect to iTunes?

Remark: I know I can do restore by connecting my iPhone to my PC before COD, but just want to make it safe, I would like to receive the money from the buyer first then only perform the cleaning.

What is the purpose of extracting from Maps? If your purpose is to share your location, you can do so via "whatsapp" application. Click arrow bar on the left chat box, and choose "share location".

I assume your gf's iPhone has not upgraded to software for a year plus minus. Guess on 4.01 or near to that. My opinion is to upgrade to IOS5.0.1. Better to restore once in awile. Once in a while meaning in range of 2-3 months once. Restore your device can clear out cache and prevent laggness also wert. As you refer to your saying, its really like a computer eh; do clean restore if unbearable laggness.

You can do Setting -> General -> Reset ONLY if your iPhone is official unlocked set plus non jailbroken device.
Please take note OFFICIAL UNLOCKED & NON JAILBROKEN device are the pre requisite before clicking the above steps. To be save, betta do a clean restore before meeting up with potential buyers.

Both our iPhone is on 4.3.3, mine jailbreaked, her's without. Restore as in, clear the whole phone and restore the backup is it?

iPhone name right click select backup > update iTunes > Click "restore" > iPhone name right click select restore from backup.

wanna ask about iTunes credit card/billing info. If say I were to buy a app for 0.99 cent, how much am i actually paying if I'm using a debit card?

Also, is it possible to delete my billing informations after purchasing an app? Reason is I want to make it more secure and to prevent myself from accidentally clicking on apps and wasting my precious money on it.

EDIT: Nvm, tried myself and problem solved. Can removed my credit card details just by clicking "none" and Done.

i had a question about the weak wifi reception.
Is this a usual issue/problem for the ip4?
compare my previous iphone 3gs, it receive a wifi signal but ip4 didn't receive any wifi signal.
and when try to connect almost the router, the ip4 receiver 2/3 bar wifi signal.

Hi dude, try clicking "reset network setting" Settings > general > reset > reset network setting. Will the signal gets stronger when you are next to the router / modem?

I already did, but seem the problem @ wifi signal still not be solve.

When you are c=just next to router/ modem, signal full bar? Or same problem? Have you try restoring it?

when next to the router, my ip4 receive 2/3 wifi signal n slightly receive full bar.. i did reset the network setting twice already.

Restore back to factory setting without JB & backup. Try if the problem still there. If yes, its time for a warranty claim.
