My issue is my laptop harddisk is goner and so goes to all my iPhone backup. So now my iPhone has Videos, apps and photos in photo library.  How do I retrieve them out from my iPhone to newly formatted PC of mine? Last time I did the same and the iTunes clear all the data out from my iPhone which I lost everything in the end. I hope someone can guide me through to avoid this from happening again.

You may try to use iFunBox to retrieve back the music/videos.
I'm not sure whether your device needs to be jailbroken in order to retrieve data, if you fail to do so, you might need to jailbreak it.
For photo, it's located in /var/mobile/Media/Photo (location may differ, depends on your iOS version)

Hey guys today i notice this problem on my i3gs ios5.0. My phone is lock and no app running but my usage and standby time is the same and battery going down like water..Example:
Usage  5 hours 29 minute
stanby  5 hours 29minute????

My iphone 3GS is updated previously by someone else to iOS 5.0.1
but now i realized that my iphone is actually an unlock set.
what is the limitation of an iphone unlock set?
is that means i cannot upgrade my firmware?

In iFunBox left-sided panel, click on Raw File System, then you'll see the var directory.
If you're iOS 5, then all the synced photo should be stored at /var/mobile/Media/PhotoData/Sync/ folder.

My advise to you is to upgrade it to the latest IOS which is 5.0.1. If the same problem occurs, try changing battery instead. Generally, i3gs has been long in market; no doubt battery performance had degraded.
Since you mentioned yours is official unlocked set, no harm upgrading now or in future. I don't see any limitation for having unlocked set, despite a huge advantage of owning it.

What platform you are using? If you are on mac, use iPhoto save all the hassle. For windows, i thought when you plugged in a bar show up and you direct import from there?

Hi bro i just update to 5.0.1 still same problem. So this means my battery is going to die??? or software problem??
To those havent seen my previous post my current problem is my phone is lock with everything off & no app running, but every time i see my usage and standby time is the same like example:
usage 15hours 2minute
standby 15hours 2minute

any solutions pls battery draining like water. Never happen before?
