Hey. I'm pretty confused too. :/

Hi, I'm planning to enroll myself on either bachelor of commerce(accounting) or bachelor of business & commerce in monash sunway.
I'm gonna finish my diploma in hospitality this April in Taylor's.
Are there any current/past students doing these 2 courses? And I'd like to know if anyone can answer a few of my questions here.

1. Pros & cons between these 2, anything additional that I should know are welcome too
2. Is it possible to enter 2nd year straight if I have a diploma in hospitality management from taylors.

not sure bout the exemptions, dont think you can get exemptions for 8 subjects(depends on the subjects you took, you'd have to check with them since its a case by case basis thing). Friend of mine who did diploma only got exemptions for two subject, lol.

Pros and cons, imo, as long as its a Monash degree, and you have decent results, shouldnt be a problem getting a job, or so i hear.

If you want flexibility, go with biz and comm(lots of majors to choose from), if you want to focus on accounting and want to study it in depth, with a lot theories and case studies in a smaller class(hence more attention i suppose? not always a good thing though ) go for b.comm(accounting). Also, it would be easier to transfer to caulfield/clayton with b.comm(accounting) than with bbuss comm.

ps: lol, monash took a full page ad on Lowyat, anybody else seeing it? the girl looks familiar...

Hey, a question for those who are taking Master of Engineering in the Sunway Campus. Is it a must to be a tutor?Some people said it's a must, while some people said it's optional, but you get extra allowance for doing it.

have you guys claim rm200 book voucher yet? I heard the deadline to collect the voucher is early march and the deadline to use that voucher is end of march

Yeah I just claimed it. better do it before semester starts otherwise the queue will be super long.
