worth it or not? depends, where do you live? does it have wifi?

monash wifi is good enough for streaming even at peak hours.

so if your accommodation doesn't have wifi, and you might travel outside of uni a lot, then perhaps the broadband plan is necessary. Otherwise, save your money,

well i dont think i will travel a lot , places im probarly hanging out is uni + hostel + pyramid

hostel do have a unifi line , but its been 6days since i reach here and there was no line , cannot connect , other previous tenants says the line is quite unstable , most of them have their broadband

i play online games that require abt 20MB per match ( each match abt half hour) , and i do download many tvshow too

hey , since my october intake is a new intake , and our 1st sem probarly wont have any seniors around since they will be on finals or holiday

any seniors here mind giving any tips ? cafetaria / library etc

alaskanbunny and zstan did help me out a bit planning for cost and stuff and what else to do.
best suggestion is meet up with your new class mates and explore.

do expect some ups and downs sometimes... but most important is to have fun and yet do well in ur studies.. being in a new country is already is challenge and coping with studies is not easy, having more friends would surely help

Hi everyone. I'm going to take my Sem1 test this year and I need some help. Does anyone here have the solutions for ENG1081 Physics past year questions? The sources are very scarce both in moodle and the library website.

a levels u will get a grade and also a percentile .... the percentile is not the mark u get from ur exams....it refers to how ur results was compared to other students taking the same exam paper

like if ur are 99% , it means u are the top 1% among the candidates , it doesnt means u got 99 marks

normally uni just look at ur grades ( A/B ) like need AAA or AAB , they dont look at percentile

90percentile above A*
80-90 above A
70-80 B
