nobody is saying sunway is unsafe.yes bandar sunway is relatively safe compared to other places, however there are a few ''isolated'' incidents once in a while.

then we would have much better food during my time in monash sunway if you got the cafetaria contract
think people prefer to eat in lunchbox SMR compared to the cafetaria nowadays even though its quite pricy

well in desperate times i.e. time in between class and lunchtime is short, lunchbox is a ''reluctant'' option
when there is enough time, rock cafe, orange, white chicken rice(seems the uncle open his own shop already), subway is another option

last time need to eat subway need to go all the way to pyramid (especially when there is buy1free1 promo time) sweat.gif

at least i feel it's better than many colleges far west.
when u move into a dorm , u have to join a meal plan , which is around 800-900 RM per month (max value). I think it was around $1500 + tax for 4-5 months of 3 meals. However they have their own food timings, so if u have class and didn't have time to go to cafeteria then u've lost the slot for the meal. Plus any unfinished meal plan doesn't roll over to next semester.

already submitted my application for 2014 feb intake.
now the waiting and patience game.....
i thought watch dogs would take the stress away but sadly delay ...

is sunway college cafe close to monash and would there be time for students to run, eat then run back ? tongue.gif

i'll prefer for at least first 6 months stay in smr , then find another accommodation with a friend outside, maybe rizwan condo

if only lovebunny had his way and got the contract from monash, we'd be swimming in chicken curry rice with spicy meatballs for 3 RM tongue.gif

however serious note, 15 - 20 RM is required everyday for food right ?
otherwise i'll have to load up on salted peanuts, wafers biggrin.gif

err 10minute or less walk thru the canopy walkway
haha RM3?maybe RM$4-5 (inclusive of free chinese tea + soup haha) tongue.gif

ok serious now:
let say breakfast you eat at home, so if lunch + dinner let say is $5 X 2=$10 should be enough for something decent
if 3 meals then yeah maybe need $15

wonder if $5 still enough for decent meal after that petrol price increase.i visited sunway in august, still can find $4 chicken rice, $4.50 small pan mee. not sure if its still the case now

that's alright , if it comes to around 15-20 RM for 2 meals plus i could buy some dry food items from 7-11 per week , that's alright with me so weekly expenses would be around 150-175 RM

Oh and let me know how the gaijin are tongue.gif

today was 1st day of orientation , talks + tour thing + settle account thingy

talk was kinda ok-ish , tour we was like a herd of sheep following around a buddy , and the funny part was everyone especially those in library keep gave us weird glance lol

the account thingy wasted a lot of time , too few comp and we had to stand and wait , my group almost waited there doing nothing more than 40minutes
