this is rather new to me. the conditional offers that I know of are when applying into Monash directly, and not when you're just applying for MUFY.

basically what a conditional offer is is that you'll need to maintain your grades above a certain average for either the first 1 or 2 semesters.
*
same goes to me.never heard about it since never.if its true, then it will be quite biased.favouring those with O-levels.people with SPM like me dont have a chance biggrin.gif

and its not for applying MUFY.they allow u to do a pre-u course which would fit their entry requirements.which for many will think that Mufy is the only way to go to monash,so they pretty much join mufy because of the fact monash offering them the letter for the use when doing the degree in monash

sorry for the long explanation.thanks anyways. biggrin.gif

Do we have to pay for the Student ID during the first time? Are the laboratory-related fees for engineering students included in the 37k tuition fee? Can any existing Monash students please list out what other fees do I (as an engineering student) have to pay upon enrollment of my course? I'm pretty sure Monash charges "Library Resource Fee" or the likes but I couldn't find it on this website.

Thank you!

Yes. Everything is included in the 37k. No hidden fees. You only need to pay an extra rm100 every semester for general fees.

Yes, you've to take units from other areas of study to make up the required credits.

I understand that engineering students have a compulsory industrial training in their third year, yes? Are there many who opt to break the 12-week industrial training into 4 (and then 8) weeks? What about those who voluntarily take up more internships on their own? As in, approaching the Employment and Career Development for more internship opportunities during holidays?

Yes, but beware scheduling issues! Different units from different schools often result in timetable clashes!

Most prefer to have it done in one go (i.e. 12 weeks). You can do as many internships as you like, but only 3 months is needed as a requirement to graduate.

Where can I find more FAQs on student exchange to Australian campus? I mean, stuff like suggested timetable, suggested activities, estimated living costs etc? Thank you!
