I did make phone calls and turn on 3g when i use facebook and msn

sometimes it is funny one
i went to the TTDI store, the two girls said don't have and no stock and so many people on waiting list
and then i asked if i should try KLCC, she said she don't know and then another guy who also wanted to be helpful or opposite, replied that based on his obeservation, KLCC has more people visiting as it is the main centre and it will have sold the units out faster. then he ended his speculation "but that is my personal opinion you can always check"

i was shocked and asked him how stupid can that be, Maxis Centre in KLCC surely would have more allocations than smaller branches. he said they are all equal. since he did not look very smart, i just risked my petrol and expensive KLCC parking.

when i went to KLCC they asked if I have a waiting/reservation list number and i need a waiting list number for SGS 2 to get it. I said nope but guess what I am here now all the way from TTDI and I want to buy it. Fortunately they checked my account and and they said based on case by case basis (since i am already using maxis for more than 10 years) if you are already there and there is stock sometimes they directly give you without reservation. So I took the queue number and went for lunch for 1 hour @ KFC KLCC (while my parking timer is still running) + 30 mins of additional waiting i got my unit.

what a good experience...maxis!

LuffyPSP,inside KB Mall there are few outlet selling SGS2 right now,Celcom Blue Cube,One Plus  and few others small kiosks.People just avoid buying from these kiosks maybe due to gurantee time frame....right now comming nearly 2 weeks I'm still waiting for new stock from SenQ KB Mall!

if i were you i cant wait lol~~ if its SME set then its ok confirm you'll get 1 year warranty from samsung and they will tell you if want to claim warranty go to the depan istana lama, dont go to them anymore. if its AP yes maybe should be afraid. the shop i bought my sgs2, their AP set only 1 month warranty. wtf. lucky got SME one.

any suggestions for good alarm clock app that can play random music?

now i'm using 'alarm clock xtreme free', quite good with 'play random songs by artist' function working but somehow the 'play random songs by playlist' doesn't work on my phone, dunno is it common bug for sgs II since the comment there no one else is complaining.. also it got some nice features such as big snooze button, and can set the interval for the music to slowly increase the volumn (so won't have heart attack when it wakes u up).. optionally can set to solve a captcha or maths question to off the alarm though i never use it..

and it's free!

another important point is... so far the comments not many people late for work because their alarm app doesn't work... lol... u go see other alarm apps, many people complaining that it fc during midnight or got bug on some devices that causes them to be late for work.. if you're scared then set the normal android alarm at 5 to 10 mins later lor to make sure got a backup... better still use another alarm clock rather than your phone la... haha

Heh he, at first i  though the stock alarm not working, but then I realised that you need to manually set the time and number of snooze (max 10 times). Then it will not be one time alarm, which i always miss. To be safe, I set multiple alarm with multiple snooze time.

For me, if the alarm plays music, i won't wake-up after a few days! Smart alarm doesn't work for me also. Loud as andromeda is all I need.

I'm using "Sleep as an Droid". Crap name, great sleep cycle alarm. No showstopping bugs and constantly updated (yeah, I got 3 updates just this week lol).

Gentle alarm is another good one, but heck complex compared to SAAD. Both feature sleep cycle monitoring, something I no longer can live without in alarm clock apps.

you bought 1 year or 2 contract?

let's assume data coverage is important for you and you don't mind paying more instead of getting digi unlimited

because in 1 year's time, do you still think maxis is gonna charge 88 for 3GB? haha i think nope.
so i don't wanna be an idiot paying 88 when the new 4G internet comes out after 3.5G.

why i took 1 year? because i think (my personal opinion) that I would be using that package anyway atleast for a year. and might as well get the RM 400+ discount

i didn't take any plan, using maxis's RM18 per month for 100mb package.. enough for all my whatsapp/facebook/lowyat forum needs

enuff to survive? my 500mb is barely enuff taking into consideration for dl-ing those apks from xda and also updating apps from market
