Any brands offer international warranty? More specifically to Canada? If need to pay extra, how much?

Also, please recommend me netbooks with price range below 1.1k. I'm leaning towards AMD C-50 because graphic power is better, fullHD playback is better and a little bit more future proof as things as getting more graphic intensive.
Requirement is that battery life should be reasonable, not overheat.
2GB minimum RAM, as my experience with 1GB RAM on Windows 7 is very painful.
Prefer FreeDOS but if come with Windows 7 also I don't mind.

Asus Eee PC, Toshiba ND550d, Acer Aspire One 770? Not really sure. Quite sad that DM1z is out of budget, rm1.4k.

Recently changed my plan. If laptop offer international warranty, I will get a temporary netbook for assignments first, then get a better one next year and go overseas. Hopefully by next year, around August AMD Trinity is out already.

For this netbook I don't need international warranty. I'm also interested in Asus, but just for comparing sake, are there any other netbooks worth my consideration?

most use intel atom... no doubt if u got the $ to go abit higher to get an intel atom+nvidia ion gpu is better.. but for budget constrains... the eee pc wit c-50 is still recommended.. cz it's more of a allrounder..

Yeah Pentium.
The pentium processor I mean is P6200, B940. How well this proc. laptop...hmm... can beat Core2Duo like Core 2 Duo P8600 (2.4GHz)?

Without window I mean is with free DOS or Linux which wont add extra cost on laptop price smile.gif
