QUOTE(Anonymous34 @ Oct 4 2015, 01:16 AM) Direct upgrade did not work for me. And therefore, clean install is the way to go. However, TRIM is working for me. Nice install there. Fresh install is better since get to free up space. How you manage to get TRIM to work? Mine didnt work out of the box.

Use the latest Multibeast available, that is Multibeast 7.5.0 for Yosemite, install 3rd Party SATA and install 10.10.3 TRIM Enabler. It should work after a reboot. This is also a good chance to reinstall all your drivers that are missing.

Finally! Got el capitan installed with Clover but not fully using UEFI but heck, as long as it could boot and run normally, I'm happy BTW, I did a fresh install. Now need to play around with the Clover Configurator.

Nice! Fresh install would be perfect. Clover configurator really helps ease things out.
Any of you guys manage to get imessages and facetime working with the installs?

Starting from Yosemite, Apple has provided a utility to enable TRIM on 3rd party SDD. Use terminal and run the following command: $ sudo trimforce enable

Thanks for the info..i remembered i read somewhere abt force trim. Will try it out soon. Ive got difficulties activating imessages and facetime too, until followed the guide to create your own board serial and ROM now both working flawlessly.
