If i remember correctly, my hansgrohe rain shower r ECO smart certified, with output of 9L/min smile.gif

I did post some photo in previous page

The ECO smart is built into the mixer, so that when you turn the handle it will restrict the output to 9l/min. The rainshower head itself can output more if you feed it more water (and if you have sufficient pressure). Edit: in your case the flow rate might be controlled by a filter insert since your set doesn't come with a mixer.

It's the same with my Grohe mixer, when you turn the handle there is a place where it will stop (and this is the Eco limit). But there is a button you can press to override the Eco limit and allows you to turn the handle to the max (if you want).

Anyway, the point is that there are several places where the flow rate can be controlled. Frankly though, to get the best feel out of a rainshower you need good pressure and high flow rate. Keeping it eco friendly won't give the best feel.

My friend is using Hansgrohe rain shower and he says it's the best he's used ever. Water drops are gentle and doesn't splash everywhere.

Second that.

Initially we had bought 2 Hansgrohe handshowers. The water jet (pressure, direction) was so much better than the other brands we'd used. So we did a comparison test and found that the Hansgrohe, despite having much stronger water pressure, was using a lot less water than 2 other brands.

My husband loved the Hansgrohe so much that he went out and bought 3 more to keep as spares.

Using the Hansgrohe handshower has been such a pleasure.

If Amazon US is about the same price, I can get it probably without tax.

I went to showroom to have a look on the Grohe stuff at showroom. The 1.7k set are from Thailand. There are few series, i cant remember the name exactly. But the from thailand stuff are smaller in term of size. Thanks.

The piping sizes are quite standard so even if you buy online it should fit.

Actually, it will be great if one of the exhibition organizer, e.g. Homedec or Perfect Livin can organize a friendly match.
Let all the famous brands from Germany and Italy also for the not so famous oem brands from China, to send their rain showers, hand showers and basin taps for a friendly competitions. The juries are comprises of 5 professional bodies and 5 from the publics. Let them give the points and feedbacks. And at the same time, all the sifus from LY's forum can gather and 'feel' for themselves. Everyone have a different taste. An at the same time also, there are comparison between the high flow system Vs Eco smart system, both feed with good water pressure (min.3bars).

Then for the first time in my life (maybe not yours), can see, feel and make the right choice for our bathroom.
German, Italian or Chinese..? Taste Vs Design Vs performance Vs durability Vs value for $$$.

Just wondering, when you have visited Germany, Italy and China. You will realize that each country have a different culture and strength. Also weakness too.
