A bonfire with a big reflector to direct the light. The problem is where to mount em without getting yourself engulfed in flames in the process.

QUOTE(Raju @ Aug 1 2011, 12:11 PM) Nope, dun think so. He's running Manitou Minute, no sign of XFusion Vengence anywhere. You loot is safe... Added on August 1, 2011, 1:12 pmAlternately, get used at www.bicyclebuysell.com lo. Better bang for buck. You may think it's worth the 1k you're paying for now, but once you get more serious into the world of MTB, you'll know that you've been suckered into getting one. Another simple test to know if the bike's of any good at all. Whateva the brand you're looking at, ask what size is available and geometry listing. S,M or L, even XL. If they say no size available or only S size, that will tell you something bout that brand itself... This post has been edited by kaizer: Aug 1 2011, 01:12 PM |

If you're worried bout how your bike looks, best to change to road cycling. Can have matching jersey to your bike.
Seriously, just use what you have. Once they go botak, a good excuse to try another brand/model tires mah. As for wasting energy. Training is training. Wasting energy is good for training, means you'll double the effort for 1/2 the distance/time. So when you're on the right equipment, you can fly. Again, it's roadie's mentality to be as efficient as possible during training as well... LOL |

QUOTE(s6xs9x @ Aug 1 2011, 05:30 PM) Somehow feels like kena pijak liao. But I dig the above highlighted. Same reasoning why marathon joggers or triathletes do weight training. Those vest/arm bands weights. So you'll gain more for spending less time and distance. Unless you're trying to push your heart and lungs, then use the easiest gear combo and spin like a hamster. Thanks for the input, perhaps I should try with mine and see. Well, I guess I'll spend on something else then. I think Rad has mentioned it before, calling it Interval Training or something, not sure. |

Babyrabies, it's a 1x9? With the limited gearing and smaller wheels, you must be an animal to smoke roadies!
