Any news for those celcom $99 owner who want terminate contract?seem suddenly dissappear here...

Im really impress with this tab... but one thing i dont like..the battery life is not good as ipad...

How long your battery last? Todsy din bring my laptop to work but use my tab, whole day use it presentation only can use 40% of the battery only

I think so,no matter how we cheat,telcos always the last stand...

no such thing as free lunch la. telco sure put some contract already...but even with the contract stil worth it cos u can use the data + voice plan on the contract on your handphone

using for half an hour now. can feel sluggish compared with ipad2. need to explore more to make this machine faster. root? and shock to see ram usage 5xx / 8xx used when not any games installed yet.

HoneyComb is still not matured yet as a tablet platform that's why still slower than ipad2 but its not that bad. ram usage is depending on what apps you are running not about the amount of apps/games you install. dont worry, the OS will auto close idle/unused apps when it needs memory.

when 1st time using it feel like lag like hell.... then after clear all cache and clear data via recovery tool.. fast like hell !!! yeah

Has anybody succeeded in playing Full HD 1080p mp4 videos downloaded from youtube on this 10.1" Galaxy Tab?
The stock video player cannot even play it and Mobo Player also got problems playing it.
Surprisingly, my Galaxy S2 had no problems with 1080p videos and IIRC my old 7" Galaxy Tab also had no problems.
Wonder if this is a weakness of the Tegra CPU compared to the Exynoz on the SGS2 or am I missing some kind of firmware update.
But apart from the inability to playback 1080p videos, all other videos including rmvb plays back excellently and the picture quality is amazing. But why this tab doesn't support playback of 1080p mp4 is really disappointing.

What player are u using for the rmvb movies? Mine the pictu quality not that good. And speaking of full HD movie, I played the 720p mv also keeps lagging dunno why.

What recovery tool that u're using....

I was testing those HKTVB drama rmvb files just now and i think it was moboplayer, as it launched without even prmpting me which player to select. If I'm not mistaken the stock video player doesn't support rmvb.
But if you use moboplayer, you will also need to download the moboplayer ARMv7 codec pack as well from the Market.
So far all my 720p avi and mp4 (mostly music videos of around 200MB for 4 minutes) plays back very well.

just.. turn off ur phone..

then hold power button + volume DOWN button.. till u see 2 icon appear .

1.is recovery tool 2. download mode

select recovery tool by pressing down button, then press power button to select (or maybe press volume UP button)


then clear cache, clear data factory data.. then go advance, clear some other cahce.. then reboot.

then..my tab no lag ;D

I thought we have a 3D view when going through the selection of music album?
