Welcome back my old friend. Quite easy to track where you'll be posting. Stock roms are definately sluggish, but in general Androids can handle quite well with multitasking. So don't have to always close the programs often, it will use more battery power.

I closed everything and typing still feel sluggish Im surprised considering the hardware its packing lol. Btw I download task manager but it says waiting to install?

Em can any sifu here give me a suggestion? I'm using my tab with celcom instanet where i have to reload everytime i wanna use there internet? but its troublesome to take out sim car to put it in a phone to top up or activate it?

Can i sms directly from the tab to activate it or is tehre alternate way for it?

Just a silly question here. I am using a WIFI version and can i install WhatsApp to use via WIFI?

Seem there is a lot of user of Tab 10.1 but never seen anyone playing it any where except iPad 2 seem the whole Msian is having one....hehehe

Is it me or does the SGT 10.1 take a long time to full charge like from 10%< till 100% . Took me about 5hr+- ?

any1 feel unstable with thier 3g connection?
my tab keep swith from hspa to 3g and G .....
and too many force close due to apps are not create for honeycomb :faint:

has anyone tried using upnplay for streaming videos from PC? I 've installed but i can't get any of my .avi or other formats to play. I have mobo with the latest codec A7 something still unable to play. do i need to download something else?

The bloody hell Samsung's staffs in Garden told me that the whole kit is selling for RM 189 now.
RM 109 is just for either one.
Even I pointed to them that the price is clearly stated on their flyer.
But, they insists that RM 109 is promotion price.
I think they make up the price coz Celcom in Mid Valley has the kit out of stock.

So, everyone who wants to buy the kit.
Beware of con men in Garden's Samsung.
Better still, don't buy from them.

hey so ur saying u could play .avi files voer upnplay using mobo player. problem is, my upnplay does detect the files on my PC, but not able to play them. I've tried so many players still can't player. Not too sure what im doing wrong here.... may be u can point me to the right direction.. thanks.

Install free app Bluetooth File transfer will help a lot. Just launch this app before you effect any transfer

How to enable 3g connection. ? I seem cannot online unless i use wifi.

i have both n still usibg both
for your needs the tab 7 inch is best choice or wait for new 7.7 maybe end year available

You are NOT supposed or expect to play facebook games on hc tablets. if you can play is a bonus. play these on your notebook. thus is what i alwsys say user pushing their tablet to extreme thinking it can replace notebook
maybe future hc upgrade will improve this but is never n not google priority. remember google will not want to improve too much on facebook experience when they have plan to have google+ to be the next facebook

hi.. wanna ask is celcom still offering promotion for this tab? thinking of buying one but kinda torn apart if wanna get without contract or with celcom contract.. which one more worthy? i heard the early birds got the tab at RM99 during launching.. damn i was outstation!! what is the price offered by celcom now?

just wonderinf the tab celcom is selling is the 3G+ wifi version?? or we actually connect a usb dongle to surf net via 3G?

i checked endgadget and techradar..it mentions no 3G slot on tab??

I dunno why people are buying this knowing it doesn't have microUSB or microSD
transformer is even better, waiting for S1 and new Toshiba makes more sense

Guys, i felt a bit disappointed to android os and this tab, seriously.
when i'm replying some email, when i type too fast, it will become laggy and often make me misspell some of words because too lag and i'm in hurry.
other than lag when typing, when i look at task manager, when i clear everything, my ram status how me 540-580/724, i'm tired of this tab already, i thought it will do better than any other as this is my first try on android OS, but unfortunately big disappointment.
everything is good, but a big thumbs down for laggy, i not sure my problem or what =(

haha, you are not alone....i am having the problem also...my wife compare her ipad and my tab and she just laugh at me.......

I use swype on my smartphone but I don't like to use swype at tab 10.1 bcoz its to big u need to swype longer and further

But android its about option n choice if u dont I this u can try others. If u feel lagging and and u want make it faster install oc kernel or wait for tegra3

I dont have ipad2 but I think both got advantages  and disadvantages . So peace make love not war here OK

how bout rooting? rooting can optimize the rom or not? sorry dont really know about rooting...
