1) i read the e-manual, there are GPU indicator just beside the power indicator, which white is for discrete GPU and nlue for onboard GPU. but i didn't saw any light on the GPU indicator

^just to confirm, can you open hwmonitorw.ini which located on the same folder with HWMonitor.exe, check if the CPU_0_TJMAX=100.0 ?

and that discharge rate is just for processor, not the whole notebook...

hi guys, wanted to ask for opinions on what's wrong with my lappy.

i have a asus n53sv. however, after online for some time (without running graphic intensive applications), the graphic indicator would suddenly switch from blue to white, then it continues blinking blue white blue white blue white...

During this weird period, the power consumption would also increase...
To solve it, i have to restart my laptop.

Anyone can give me some light on what problem is this?

eh just today i restarted my n53sv then it give me "windows is unable to start" then goes to "windows is repairing etc etc". any idea?
after the repair i can start normally again

@balanced, u got any gpu temp checker or some gpu/other monitoring app running? is the setting done on auto/global, and u surfing youtube(youtube switch to nvidia automatically). finally, u got update ur nvidia to the newest version?
@thieflord, shutdown problem or did u bump ur lappy anywhere?
the only thing i get is unable to start or locate OS.. that will be deep shit

only battery care was running. Setting is on auto. The light is blinking blue white continuously even after i have close all programs and browsers. Yup, newest version of nvidia driver.

To solve this problem, i have to restart my computer and everything will be back to normal. I dun think battery care is the culprit as the battery care is always running and only sometimes happen the blinking party...

i right click and use nvidia run,, it's ok... the notification said ''1 program using'' on the tooltip..

the thing is the light above.. suppose to have right????

@lee_what, haven't notice which GPU is the laptop using at the bottom tray when the problem occurred..will tell after the problem reappears..(pray dun reappear la...)

@avan, yup, should have light indicating which GPU is running.
