i'm sure my wife's defy no 3g running. now testing see is hardware problem or not.

if not hardware, then will get into MIUI 1.7.15 smile.gif

Guys! Help me......i just have my defy around a week....and it is still 2.1 . Then just now, my earpiece got a problem...i cant even hear any tone or voice from others,,but can hear it just by loudspeaker....ive search it, and many said...it is the common prob...how to fix? Is it by upgrade the android firmware 2.2 or 2.3 can solve it? Pls help me in details.... ;(

surely its under warranty...but if i change the earpice, will it void warranty? and do u know how much it cost if ireplace the earpiece?

Don worry if u gt warranty just throw everything to service center.I root my phone gt brick donno how to recover, throw to Motorola they also NV say anything.be steady.

OK. just to share my wife defy battery drain fast issue.

Tested not the battery problem, is the phone itself.

Test 1 : Change battery. Battery ok in other phone and.

Test 2 : The other battery same drain fast in my wife defy.

Test 3 : Do battery calibration . Same result.

Test 4 : Wipe cache / Wipe data ..factory reset. Still the same.

Test 5 : Totally give up the ori ROM. Clean flash to official froyo 2.2 for SEA. Problem SOLVE.

since you already flashed to official Froyo, might as well one more step and flash MIUI for you wife. i guarantee she will like it
