My family just booked a unit of flash red Polo GTI at Old Klang Road Veemer Motor. I've tested Jetta, Polo and Polo GTI, finally decided to go for the performance, now I just have to wait for six months, ouch...

Totally agree, comparing a Passat with GTI is so irrelevant.

It is like saying why bother buy a Rolls Royce, so old school design, bulky, look like uncles car, better buy a Bugatti or , Koenigseggg, so much more fun to drive, can mod the engine, tune the suspension.... etc sweat.gif

so obvious that these cars are targeted for different consumer groups.

sorry, it's just my 2 cents.

Hie ppl! I will be collecting my PRE-REG VW polo either this coming week or the following week.

May I know what do I look out for when collecting the car? The SA told me that the mileage will be less than 70km as they need to go puspakom to do checking. Is this true?

Other than that,do I need to check the engine bay etc etc?

Thanks!

I wrote about driving the Passat, Cross Touran, and Jetta here.

And all Volkswagen models come with a 2-years manufacturer warranty, plus 3-years extended warranty (5 years in total). As for the Jetta v/s Golf; the slower response from the Jetta is expected - performance has obviously given way to practicality. Bear in mind that the Jetta also weighs more.

Hmmm, I thought Detroit means 18', while Denver means 17'? And the surface for Detroit is shiny polished...
