i wish to install whatsapp too.. but whatsapp said they don support tablet at the moment...
*
U can install using the unofficial way but may cause some instability .

1) titanium backup your phones whatsapp
2) copy the backup files to your tablet
3) restore it on your tablet via titanium

Done

my panorama also not working, will force close, but i do a factory reset, then it ok already  smile.gif

Panorama shots are working unless you have set some sort of security for screen unlock (face unlock, pin, pattern)

For some reason, enabling those breaks panorama shots rclxub.gif

if ICS is all your boss wants then why need to root and CWM it ?

just turn on the official updates and get the straight from Asus servers. Easiest this way smile.gif

erm ... been using ICS since Revolver updated to ICS. So far battery doesn't seems any different from Honeycomb.

I let my wifi ON all the time with a few auto sync, i think it has been 2 days now and its still alive. Later i go home i try screen shot and share here

I think those that having battery issues are those facing random reboots without knowing it

revolver yeah .. still beta , apart from no revolver parts , it works as it should. I even updated from HC to ICS (revolver to revolver) without wipe. So everything i had in HC is intact.

later i go home i test 720p see how then update here smile.gif

OK tested 720p video(naruto by horriblesubs) using BS player, if use software rendering there is a lot of tearing and frame drops. If I use BS player built in engine for hw acceleration, very smooth and no issue at all.

As promised here is the screenshot of my battery life, 26% remaining

Correct the other option is to use system decoding engine. Just tried it out, definitely not as smooth as BS own engine

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Mar 8 2012, 07:22 PM)
its not luck, i believe ICS amplifies existing problems more. usually some stuff like missing homescreen icons is due to widget problems and battery drain i believe is due to some app/service that is running eating up battery. still need to figure out which app is causing this..i'm facing battery drain only now..previously faced the missing homescreen icons issue but i've fixed it already by finding out which widget causing it - then uninstall it, reinstall back..

not entirely true. some users do factory reset before and after ics upgrade and still faces those problem.

that's what I'm trying to say, some still faces the problem even after they factory reset without restoring/installing apps. but it doesn't happen to everyone. that's y I say depending on luck lol.

for my case I'm basically using back everything from honeycomb and haven't face any problem or random reboot yet.

Asus had actually acknowledged the problem and working on an update.
