I only use Opera browser when I use the keyboard. Other browsers too much lag

Opera browser can let us do text input without lagging but when I use it with facebook, it has bugs especially when I am commenting.

so far ASUS has been pretty quick at releasing their updates. they've recently released a minor upgrade to 3.1 and 3.2 update is due out soon too, so no worries.

we got them from evernew midvalley, but please do NOT go there and buy from them, they have a bad reputation of poor customer service and bad manners staff. For demo unit i'm not sure, perhaps you could try there but dont buy from them..

as cyberkewl rightly pointed out, updates from asus is, imho, extremely good. within product launch in US till now, we've gotten 1 major upgrade from 3.0 to 3.1. there's also the dock upgrade. and now this (btw, i also noticed tegra zone apps updated itself after that). then 3.2 is on its way...

if only the latest upgrade fixed the shy speakers. i have not tested it but since no feedback from others on this, i m guessing its not fixed. can't test now coz in bedroom and son's asleep liao...

Yea, Evernew really sucks. Unwilling to bear responsibility when there are product issues. My friend actually lodged a consumer tribunal complaint against them. Better buy your unit elsewhere.

cyberkewl - did you noticed the increase in free ram? well, up to last nite it decreased by bit, 177used - 380-free sweat.gif

maybe the increase earlier was just a refresh after installing the update

one more thing, does the sound became louder after the update (but not balanced, it still have the shy lefty) or is it just me experiencing placebo effect laugh.gif

Added on July 19, 2011, 10:12 amthis is what the latest update does from xda forumers

dare not to copy paste their info, so here's the link tongue.gif

I experienced this quite often, but since then I've:
1. Uninstalled some apps I downloaded
2. Make sure the unit is docked securely (check the silver tab that locks the TF to the keyboard)
3. Updated the system

So far no reboots *touch wood*, my guess is the update fixed some stability issues?
