It is possible to install Whatsapp on a Asus tablet.

But you must have Whatsapp already working on your Android phone.
Just make a backup All apps and data with Titanium backup from Whatsapp on your phone.
Go into the TitaniumBackup folder at your phone and copy the three files starting with com.whatsapp to your Asus tablet. U have to put these files in a folder named TitaniumBackup.
Then download Titanium Backup on your tablet.
In settings, applications, Development enable USB debugging and allow mock locactions. At applications enable Unknown sources.

Go to Titanium Backup and scroll to the com.whatsapp file.
Restore app and data.
Now you should have working Whatsapp !

was just playing around with the TF101 over the CNY hols and noticed there's an apps that comes with the TF101... apps data backup or sth like that... not sure if it backs up the apps as well, or just the save game data...

anyone tried it out yet? i wonder if there's sth similar on the market that does not require root. wanted to try it out... but since i have no plans to wipe the TF101 or move the game data elsewhere, figured it was quite pointless...

but would have been good if i had found out about this apps much earlier... had played "Cut the rope" and progressed far when my son did a reset a few months back. gave up and stopped playing it liao... lol...

it backs up the app and data but limited to 600mb max which is lame but does work..

TF101 serve me well during CNY holiday ^^.

me too! no regrets getting the TF101, can watch movie on it, play some games, surf net - so much fun with it and since its not that heavy, easy to carry around also. cant imagine my life without it

I just tested our TF101 with "sd card tester" and the write speeds are really slow - 2.24 MB/s for a 472MB test file while the read is pretty decent - 12.09 MB/s. Compared with my new Kingmax MicroSD Class 6 doing :

read speed - 9.89 MB/s average
write speed - 10.81 MB/s average

How's it possible that the write speed is so incredibly slow? Could anyone test it out with the "sd card tester" app from the Android Market and let me know?

I hav a problem with my TF. Every time i browsing or playing games, my TF acting so wired. The page is zooming by it self, eventough i only touch de screen using one finger, it happens when i play game also, and some the bottom lie function such as back, home etc can't be pressed. I need to sleep my TF then turn it back on in order to make it works again.
Any idea what problem am i facing and how to solf it? Thanks be4.

I hav no screen protector applied. I hav clean it also but no luck. Huhu.. The problems still der.

usually my Eee Pad got such problem after my daughter with it for some time...

then i'll need to clean the screen with micro fiber cloth ..every cm x cm must clean. Then ok.

Thank you for the advice. I cleaned my TF using lcd cleaner borrowed from my friend, haven't facing the problem again.
I guess this TF need to be clean regulary. Thanks one more..

2. Dont think so, you can use google cloud printing but that needs your PC to be turned on also connected to a printer.
3. Don't know, check with shops, should be cheaper now since prime already released.

2. USB printer don't think so but network printer via wifi or Bluetooth can . You need software like printershare
