QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jul 8 2011, 10:38 PM) the TF101 sell in malaysia is wifi model only? still dilemma on getting honeycomb or ipad2.. I support android for sure, but sometimes support not blindly support because i am not a fanboy.. i buy what's the best for users.. yes wifi model only at the moment, 3g version coming soon but not sure when will make it to malaysia. tell you what dude, we're not here to blindly support either, we just love android period. ipad2 works great but you lack a lot of customisation options, no flash, no microsd, limited to no external storage support..buy according to what your needs are. if you love to customise, buy an android tablet. otherwise, get an ipad. its not too difficult to decide. good luck Added on July 8, 2011, 10:43 pmQUOTE(cweew @ Jul 8 2011, 09:56 PM) Anyone encounter slow start up eventhough most of the bigger size files have been migrated to micro SD? did you try to take out the microsd and then restart? its possible that the OS might be caching some stuff from the microsd..i dont have a large microsd so i dont really see much slowdown during startup. . QUOTE(littlekev @ Jul 8 2011, 10:59 PM) ya, i kind of agree on what you are saying. we support android so that ios has a competitor so that it can become better. if i were you, i will take ipad2, it is best for user. actually what's best for users is that apple should give the users an option to enable/disable flash and not make the choice for them..haha..with android, its all up to you. dont like flash? turn it off! simply as that

QUOTE(littlekev @ Jul 8 2011, 11:05 PM) apple always decide on behalf of the user and i heard that they are having some issues with adobe hence no flash in their device for the time being. well yeah flash is buggy but having options are still better. imagine you wanted to watch a video on your ipad then realised..no flash...too bad right? no such issue on the transformer

QUOTE(banana88 @ Jul 9 2011, 02:24 PM) wao, v2 ady...keep going..hehe... i found out something, if the tf101 full charge off it, leave it with the dock, the battery also will drain off... even u dint open and use it...weird... Of course it will drain because the tablet is still in use unless you shutdown the tablet entirely. The amount of battery used is less but it will still use for sure because lets say you have wifi connected you will still get your emails even though it is asleep in standby. This is the same with iPad so there's nothing to worry about.

QUOTE(banana88 @ Jul 9 2011, 03:56 PM) has been shut down the tf.... how much of a drain are we talking about? And where is the drain coming from? Tablet or dock? You can check by getting the xda widget : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1123363 Added on July 9, 2011, 6:14 pmFor those who got the FieldRunners HD, there's an update now which supports tablets. Works great now. This post has been edited by CyberKewl: Jul 9 2011, 06:14 PM

QUOTE(kelvinsin @ Jul 11 2011, 12:11 PM) For rooted+dock user, what type of SD card your using?Does class4 & class10 sd card will give significant different in term of speed while your apps/movie/audio storing in sd card? no major difference for tablet because apps are stored on internal storage not on SD. for movies should be fine except for 1080p i think..have not tried 1080p on anything lower than a class4 sd/microsd before. i think class 4 should be sufficient.

QUOTE(N900user @ Jul 11 2011, 09:10 PM) hey sifus... i left my eee pad overnight and checked it the next morning, i realised the keyboard battery has gone to half (initially both battery was full).. is this consider normal? actualli wat has happened and how to prevent this? enlighten me plz... :รพ do you have some apps such as friend me or tweetdeck that checks for notification every x minutes? try increasing the frequency to 1 hour instead, these apps eat up battery because they constantly check the server. for apps that are not properly developed it may eat up more battery when wifi is not connected, depends on how the developer developed the app. this i cannot tell you which app eats up how much battery, you have to check and find out yourself (cos i dont know myself). personally i try to avoid such apps or disable the notification entirely if possible (when i go to sleep).

The 3g Version is estimated priced at 499 Euros and the 3g slot will NOT replace the microsd: http://androidsupernova.blogspot.com/2011/...3g-version.html
